In my mind I can see the northern lights in the sky every night bc I have a vivid imagination I’m not jealous of anyone it’s impossible for me to be jealous really I’ve seen it all

Fata Morgana
A superior mirage caused by warm air resting on patches of colder air in an atmospheric duct that acts like a refracting lens. Objects on the horizon could appear to be mirrored, distorted, or float. This form of mirage could be the reason for the Flying Dutchman Legend.
Imagine a bee rn in a hive muttering "the beekeeper is not real because he is not intervening or helping me at all with this disastrous relationship I have with another bee". now imagine that's you talking about the good lord. now imagine a dog with a propeller hat on
Filing this in my memory right next to this thread:
hi pam! i saw your post about travelling in italy and it just so happens that im currently planning my first ever trip to rome (end of june for a few days). would you have any helpful tips for a fellow traveller? 👼🫶
Ooh that’s so nice!!! So if you’re staying only for a few days I would definitely suggest seeing Rome’s musts such as the historical center, Villa Borghese and Trastevere (Trastevere is nicer at evenings). You gotta try the best pizza if u can btw, best places to get it is at I Quintili (Furio Camillo) or Al solito porzio (Tuscolana), just gotta call them first and book cuz they’re usually always full. Also solito porzio offers gluten free options and lactose free too if im not mistaken. Trust me once uve tried that pizza u can never go back to eating other types of pizza lmao. For some nice wine with a delicious charcuterie board I would suggest Signorvino at Piazza Barberini. If time allows u for it theres some other nice places such as Villa Doria Pamphilj and lots of museums you can visit. If you feel like doing a beach day you need to know theres a lot of nice seaside towns in the outskirts of Rome that u can reach by train within 1 hour… Theres Ladispoli, Civitavecchia, even though I would suggest Nettuno/Anzio, since Nettuno is also home to a medieval borgo and other than the sea has also the historical element to it. When u arrive to Rome make sure to get your weekly pass for public transport cuz you will be using that, and also be careful of pickpockets! They tend to aim for tourists. I hope you have a great time in Rome!! 🧡
me and the five other people that didn’t see the northern lights are throwing a party and you’re not invited btw
Hmmm since i live in italy and love traveling around italy maybe i should make a compilation of nice places to visit (from experience) along with pics and another of NOT nice places to visit
So ill just do this here since it’s very short. The NOT nice places to visit:
1. Genova. Yall might be surprised at this but to me Genova is just a less pretty version of other italian cities that I’ve already seen. Somehow it’s a mix of Naples and Polignano a Mare. Also people who give south of italy a bad reputation for being dangerous have never been to Genova apparently because it was very unsafe even during the day and there were rats everywhere. Also the people have a stick up their ass
2. Otranto. Tourist trapppp especially during summer. The prices are crazy and not worth all that. Also if ur sensitive to energy and vibes you will realize that the place has really dark energy, I started feeling so bad when I went there and there was actually a certain spot where I started feeling incredibly dizzy. After taking me away from there my bf was like I didn’t wanna freak you out but 800 people were slaughtered and massacred there. And honestly though it happened a long time ago the air definitely still feels heavy with something
Please come Dubai 😩
Ik this is a joke but Dubai has never really interested me much it just feels soulless to me also I don’t like how much the “luxury” aspect of it is glamorized on social media like i dont care about luxury cars or malls or brands or big skyscrapers honestly…..
