βCome on,β you said quietly, holding her hand as you snuck through the old castle that you liked to call your home. You ran through the halls as quietly as you could, hiding behind walls or tapestries whenever you heard someone nearby.
As a 7th year yourself you felt the need to give the most popular visitor a little tour of your own, having been throughout most of the castle already. You had to admit though, you could understand why everyone was head over heels for the girl who was by your side at that very moment.
Looking behind you once in a while you could see that she was filled with excitement during your so-called spontaneous adventure. You loved the way her smile stretched across her face and when she would try to hide her laugh when you tried to stay hidden.
Once in a while, though sheβd drag you over to stop at a window and sheβd stare out at the stars in the sky with wonder. She was trying to make you look at the stars too but all you could see was how the starry reflection would glitter off her eyes and if you werenβt already you swore you couldβve fallen in love all over again.
When you finally made it out of the castle, you perched yourself against a tree away from the Black Lake as you were there for the most recent challenge and you were worried about how sheβd react, being so close. You both sat and watched as cloud after cloud would drift slowly through the sky and sometimes youβd use your imagination and say something the cloud looked like even if it was totally random, just to see her laugh.
But if you had to be honest, you especially enjoyed the night when she started pointing out the constellations that she knew. You knew she was intelligent and that was another thing you loved about her but something about seeing her so happy possibly made your heartbeat slightly faster.
You held her hand for what felt like hours and you only fell deeper in love, not knowing that she felt the same way but still living in bliss as the comfortable silence surrounded you two. Soon enough though you felt her drift off as she leaned against your chest and you could feel the wide smile on your face as you decided to join her in her slumber a few minutes afterward.

We were walking hand in hand on our way to The Three Broomsticks, Fred was saying something stupid and I was laughing, almost in tears. When we made it there we sat down and Fred ordered us some butterbeer and some food.
We talked for a long time and relaxed looking around the pub looking for new people to make fun of before we had to go back. We sat back in comfortable silence finishing our food before leaving.
βIs this a date?β I asked jokingly all of a sudden. Fred froze mid-bite and almost choked on his food before looking at me in bewilderment. He swallowed the rest of his food and started looking around the room nervously.
βWell I mean it could be if you wanted to, look, (Y/n), Iβve actually liked you for some time and I was thinking we could make this into a date? if you would like to, obviously,β he said in a rushed voice I stared in shock before my face broke out into a wide smile.
βI would love for this to become a date even though you do know I was joking right?β I said with a wide smile and a laugh after seeing the look on his face when he heard what I said.

It was well into the night and we were both cuddling in front of the fireplace in the Gryffindor common room. There were only a few people in there but a lot of other students were getting ready for bed themselves.
George looked down at me with love in his eyes and I smiled a gentle smile in return. He leaned down to give me a peck on the lips and pulled away only for me to pull him back into a deeper kiss.
βI love you too, (y/n/n),β I cuddled closer into his side and he wrapped his arms around me to get more comfortable. We stayed there for most of the night, staring at the fire and occasionally cracking jokes and flirting with each other.
I yawned and stretched my arms over my head while he just chuckled at me. My eyes got droopy and I was ready to fall asleep right then and there. βOk, off to bed you go,β he said, getting ready to get up.
βNo. Iβm not tired, I want to stay here with you,β I said with a pout. He only let out a small laugh at my response and picked me up in his arms and stood up. βNoooo, George, I want to stay here with you,β I whined at him.
βNo, youβre going to bed and Iβm taking you,β he said refusing to give in. Then in my sleepy state, I had a brilliant idea. I looked up at him with innocent eyes and he looked down at me with a smile and a roll of his eyes. βWhat do you want now?β
βWell, what if I slept with you tonight, then, in that case, Iβll be going to sleep and weβll be together, happy ending for all of us,β I said with a cheeky smile. He shook his head with a laugh escaping his lips and started to walk up the stairs to his dorm.
I cheered at my small victory and let out another yawn much to Georgeβs amusement. Soon enough we were up in his dorm and getting ready for bed, not before saying a few I love youβs to each other though.

Being a professor wasnβt always the easiest thing, you always had to worry about your students. Whether itβs them getting in trouble or getting others out of it. I had always known Harry Potter to be getting into trouble so when he went missing I immediately contacted his guardian, Vernon Dursley, asking if he knew of his whereabouts.
When he hadnβt responded though I knew I had to go to the next best thing. His godfather, Sirius Black. To make it easier I decided to arrange a meeting between the both of us and he agreed that we should meet at his place.
That was where I was now inside of Grimmauld place, waiting for the notorious Sirius Black. I jumped a bit when I saw a house-elf appear in front of me and flinched when he gave me a sneer. But when he indicated for me to follow him I complied and I was led to a sitting room where Sirius had already been, reading a newspaper article.
When the house-elf left I took a look around the room before taking a look back at where Sirius had been, not even glancing up from his newspaper article of the Daily Prophet. I cleared my throat and he looked back at me and nodded for me to take a seat across from him which I gratefully did.

βWell, when I said βAccio, hottieβ, I didnβt expect it to work,β he interrupted with a smirk. He gave me a not so secretive once over while I just blushed in my seat before clearing my throat and trying to compose myself.

Walking around Diagon Alley at these times always frightened me. With the death eaters creeping around and everything else, you had to be cautious. It felt like no matter where you turned, you saw danger peeking around every corner.
When I said peeking around every corner, I meant every corner. So although it did frighten you it didnβt surprise me to see death eaters when I turned. What did surprise me was seeing a curly-haired Bellatrix Lestrange leading this very group of death eaters.

Walking into the Slytherin common room after a long day made you really tired. Maybe two or three people were in there and you sat on the couch in front of the fireplace after seeing Regulus sitting there too.Β
You didnβt say anything for some time and you looked over at him seeing a letter in his hand. You knew exactly who the letter was from when you saw him holding a Queen Anneβs Lace in his other hand, a Walburga Black trademark youβd noticed.Β
He kept looking at the fire like he hadnβt even noticed you sat down next to him. Scooting closer to him until your legs were touching, he leaned his head against your shoulder, finally acknowledging your presence. You both sat, staring at the fire.Β
All of a sudden you moved his head off your shoulder and grabbed the flowers and the letter, folding it carefully, you put them on the table next to the couch. You scooted over a little and grabbed his head, setting it on your lap.
He started shifting around getting comfortable and you sat there in comfortable silence for a while before you started running your fingers through his hair. It was something you did commonly when his mother sent him a letter.
It was like a silent agreement between the two of you. You were also the only person that heβs let touch his hair.
βHow bad was it?β You said in a tone just above a whisper. You heard him let out a deep sigh and watched him ponder for a bit before speaking,
βI- it wasnβt good, she just keeps talking about Sirius and how ungrateful he is even after all these years,β he said back quietly, βShe also talked about you-know-who today.β
You nodded in understanding and you both sat there, talking in whispering tones to make him feel better and listening to the crackling of the fire with you running your fingers through his hair. Soon enough you forgot the letter even existed.

I scrunched up my nose, remembering that horrid lesson all those years ago. I enjoyed herbology, but I think it was more because I enjoyed seeing Neville so happy more than taking care of all the plants.

βI hope you remember that this whole thing is a dare and I don't actually want to be here with you,β The Gryffindor boy walking in front of you says. You roll your eyes knowing that he canβt see you and walk behind him with your arms crossed.
βStupid idea, stupid date, and stupid James Potterβ You thought to yourself seeing how he wouldnβt shut up and just finish the dare that your friends made you go on. You truly didnβt want to be on the date either but you surely werenβt being as loud and obnoxious as him.
When you got to the Black Lake where your date had been set up by your friends, mostly Dorcas and Lily you guessed, you both sat on opposite sides of the blanket as far away from each other.
You mostly sat there bickering or just snapping at him once in a while before you finally had enough. Getting up you slipped your shirt off without a word and walked to the dock where you dived in before he could even get a word out.
βWhat are you doing, weβre supposed to be on a date together you know?β You heard when you returned to the surface a few seconds later. Rolling your eyes, you went back underwater and you stayed there not expecting to hear a splash behind you and seeing James right there.
Returning to the surface once again, you stayed floating, waiting for a while, when James returned to the surface a few seconds after you, and you stayed glaring at each other.
βI came in here to get away from you,β You seethed.
βWeβre supposed to be on a date.β
βAnd I don't care, you are the epitome of chaos and the definition of cockiness and I donβt want to be here any more than you do.β
βI hope the giant squid takes you,β He said angrily as he started walking out of the lake in his shorts, snatching his glasses from where they sat on the dock. You let out a heavy sigh before reluctantly walking out too.
Ten minutes had passed since you got out and you were both sitting on the picnic blanket once again in angry silence.
Although you knew you could never win as you started shivering from the gentle breeze that was starting to pick up. Unconsciously you started scooting closer to James until you bumped your shoulder with his and you mumbled a quick sorry before moving an inch or two away.
βCome here,β You hear James say. You shook your head and he groaned, grabbing your shoulders and pulling you toward his chest where he hugged you tightly and started warming you up. Although you didnβt want to admit it, he smelled good, like sandalwood, and you buried your face in his chest to get a better smell.
βMaybe you arenβt so bad after all,β Was the only thing you heard from above you. You hummed quietly and the both of you sat there, warming each other up and staying there even after you were dry to admire the sunset in peaceful silence, which you decided was much better than an angry one.

The second time I saw you, you were alone. I went up to you because you looked upset, and I wanted to make you feel better. Although you did push me away.
But I saw you again. You were with your friends again and you were laughing. To the strangerβs eye, itβll look like you were genuinely happy, but the more I looked at you, I could see how fake it was.

You were tending to the newly hatched dragons at the dragon sanctuary, checking their vitals and seeing if they were all healthy and ready to go back to their mother. You were filling out the report on one of the last dragons when you heard a knock at your door.
βCome in,β you called out, turning towards the counter in your small healing hut and setting down the report you had been working on.Β
When you turned back around you saw Charlie Weasley, a new dragon trainer at the sanctuary, standing at the door and he froze for a sec, seeming to lose his train of thought on why he was there. You waved your hand in front of his face and he snapped out of his daze wincing.
βCharlie, are you doing ok?β You asked. Instead of saying anything, he pulled up his sleeve and showed you a burn mark on his arm making you wince at how bad it looked.
βSorry for bothering you but can you,β he paused, suddenly looking nervous and continued, βhelp me please?β
βWell, I donβt usually heal people but Iβve had my own share of burns in the past, why donβt you come over here?β He nodded and followed you to your sink where you turned the cold water on and stuck his arm under it.
After a few seconds, you grabbed his arm again and dragged him over to another counter you grabbed some lotion and you applied it to the burn carefully, trying not to hurt him.Β You grabbed some bandages from your aid kit and wrapped it around the burn with a smile.
βThere you have it, if you ever get any burns in the future you can always come to me until you get settled in,β
He muttered a smile thanks with an awkward smile before leaving and you turned back to the rest of the baby dragons with a soft smile.
