In celebration of 711 followers on this blog, I’m hosting a contest that will be from this announcement until July 11th! 7/11!
This is an
Art Contest!
Which includes, but it not entirely limited to:
- Digital Art
- Traditional Art
- Cosplay
- Writing
The rules are as follows:
- You must draw Adapt AU. It has to be this AU, no other Heathers AU will be accepted nor will original Heathers.
- Because it’s a celebration of 711 followers and will be ending on 7/11, the theme will be 7-11. Jason and Ronnie eating 7-11 food, hanging in 7-11, drinking Big Gulps, grabbing taquitos, something like that.
- It doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to have a 7-11 vibe of some sort.
- You must have your entry in by 7/11, anything past that date will not be accepted unless you talk to the mod about a late submission.
If you have any ideas for an entry that isn’t listed, just go ahead and pop it into the askbox and I’ll approve it.
There will be three winners, each getting a sticker from Redbubble of your choice. Be sure to tag your submission and @ me here. Just to make sure you get your submission in, message me a link as well! Winners will be announced by 7/14.

We waited some extra time to announce the winners of the contest because we wanted to make sure every entry was in because, as posted on the information blog, we were allowing late entry with communication with the moderators of either blog. We didn’t receive any so, it’s time to announce the winners! There is no order to the winners and we will not say who chose what artist, but the winners are– in the order of submission and not the order of winning–
Winners should contact us within the next 48 hours to talk with us about winning and your prizes!
Thank you, everyone who participated, all the stuff submitted was great and extended our lives infinitely because of the interest in this AU. We’ll do other events at other milestones too.

For the contest, if you message us ( @askronnieandjason or me, on here ) about a late entry, you might be able to make the cut because we’ve been really busy with stuff too. We still do have enough for the contest but if you were working on something, started something, or wanted to even throw something together real fast, just shoot us a message.

We’d first like to thank you all for following and supporting both this blog and this au! We’re so glad that people enjoy it and hope to continue producing content for it.
Okay, so, the contest!
Anyone who wants to enter can create a work of art (picture, fanfiction, anything you can think of or enjoy doing) related to the Heathers Adapt AU (no canon Heathers or other AUs)!,
Simply post it with the tag “adapt au contest”, and maybe message or @ our blog to make sure we see it, and you’re good to go!
Three winners will be selected, and each winner will receive a sticker of their choice off red bubble.
The cutoff for entries is May 15th, and winners will be announced on the 18th!

hi! in regards to ur last ask, is heather duke in this au?? or was she cut? and if she wasn't how does she react to heather m and heather c's deaths??
We didn’t cut anyone out! Heather Duke just doesn’t go along with Chandler and McNamara when the two of them get shot. During the initial stages of the planning, we were going to kill off all three Heathers but that was pushing it with how much the town would believe.
She reacts in a very similar way to how she reacted to Chandler’s death in the original. She prayed for the death of Heather Chandler and Heather McNamara wasn’t exactly the best friend to Duke either. She rises to power like she did in the first, it’s just faster because Chandler dies after Kurt and Ram. (The rise to power is still caused by blackmail and an outside idea.)
But, god, no, we didn’t cut any character. Everyone’s still here (Betty, Duke, Martha, David, Rodney, etc.).
