❕ ‘random’ | (I know we already have a thread so I hope this is okay !)
Send me a “❕” and a number (or ‘random’ for a random number) And I’ll make a starter where my muse sees yours wearing: 17. A Plaster Cast
A lecture. That’s what was coming. And a harsh one, from the looks of it.
Oowada glanced up at Ishimaru from his lackadaisical position at his desk: arms crossed behind his head, chair kicked back and teetering dangerously on two legs, feet, crossed at the ankle, resting on his desk above the pile of reading material he was supposed to be studying.
The first bell for class had yet to ring and Oowada was already making lists in his mind of places he’d rather be.
》He noticed the cast covering the length of her right forearm when she approached his desk earlier, but he was debating whether or not pointing out the obvious was necessary. It was new enough, it had to be, Ishimaru wasn’t wearing it yesterday. Or, if she was, Mondo didn’trecall seeing it. Pretty fast recovery time to hurt an arm that badly oneday and still make it to school on time the next. Then again, Oowadadoubted the phrase ‘sick day’ was even in the moral compass’s vocabulary.
With curiosity growing to get the better of him, the biker found himself blurting out, ❝How’d ya’ break it?❞
mynameissonianevermind:
Hog… hog… yes, a motorcycle! He had already explained that to her. The idea of her riding one made her gasp, followed by another hiccup. Horses were much more stable animals. Did anyone even actually ride hogs?… Wait, that didn’t matter. Sonia listened to him go on and she rubbed her shoulder he had so gently punched. That would probably hurt later. Maybe.
“They’re shooo huge! Almost as tall as you, Oowada-shan! And they do have asshes! Flanksh! I have heard– hic! Talesh of horshes killing men with their… their back legsh! Sho strong!” she exclaimed, leaning forward in her excitement. Not about horse butts or killer horses, but something else.
“Would you, really let me ride the hog with you? I’ll be gentle with her, and,” she paused, searching for more words, “honorable! I don’t need a– a helmet! I have been wanting to ride a– hic! Horse for sho long. I beg you! I will tie my hair up sho it doesn’t kill us!”
It was the closest thing she could get to riding a horse, right? Truthfully, she had not taken any of the horses out of the stables herself for a ride like that in a long time. It would be even faster, too! A mechanical horse! She would still prefer a real horse, but still!
“You are a… mashter hog rider, yesh? A leader? I would– hic! Be honored! I’m not really an expert at… horshes.”
”Flanksh...?” Mondo parroted back to her, first mangos, now flanking? Flasks, did she mean flasks? Or planking...?
”C’mon, I’m stronger than some girly horse. Ya’ gotta hear the tales of all the cops I’ve taken out with just my fists! Didn’t even have to use my legs!” While Oowada had never seen a horse in person, he was still fairly certain that he could take one on. “My Little Ponies ain’t got nothin’ on me!”
Switching gears from mammal to machine, Oowada took her excitement into account. “Hogs ain’t like horses... They’re hella fast, an’ cooler lookin’, ya’ know?” The biker was temped to reach for another sip of wine, but he figured had had enough for the evening— both of them had—and he moved the glass aside.
“Oh, you’re wearin’ a helmet, your Majesty. You gotta wear one, way too dangerous for ya’ not to. ‘Specially if ya’ ain’t never been on a bike before.” He was concerned for her safety, yes, but Mondo didn’t want to be responsible for the potential international crisis which would ensue if, god forbid, the princess of Novoselic ended up getting injured.
“Me? I’m a pro. Greatest rider in the whole country right here. Already said, I’ll give ya’ a ride. Ya’ don’t gotta be an expert, ya’ just gotta hold on tight.”
royaltead:
“ But I am not the one who smells of fumes. I cannot imagine what one must do to achieve such a stench. “ It’s an extreme exaggeration, and she knows it. Yet aggravating him gives her a certain sense of superiority. “ I thought you led a motorcycle gang, not stood behind one. “
Bristling, he took a consequential step towards her, his scowl undermined by the dark blush that had found its way to his cheeks. He smelled great as far as he could tell, she was simply trying to get under his skin. Unfortunately, her tactics worked.
“I-I smell like a fuckin’ man! Guess it’s just somethin’ you ain’t used to, hangin’ around vampires or whatever it is you goth chicks are into!”

@upshiifts wanted a starter!
“That’s a good name! A strong name! You should thank your parents for giving you such an excellent name!”
❝I mean... I guess ya’ could say all that...❞ Slightly off-put by such a forward compliment, he gave a small shrug. The moral compass did have a point, after all—Mondo was a strong-ass name, and he was a strong-ass guy.
❝I ought’a... thank my ma’ next time I see ‘er, huh... Guess I will! ...Your name ain’t too bad, neither. Reminds me a’ summer.❞
And I’ll make a starter where my muse sees yours wearing:
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Such admirable words. You tryin' to lecture me? You think you can tell me what I can and can't do?!

“ Please do not stand so near to me. I have no wish to smell of exhaust. “
❝Yeah? Well you ain’t exactly a basket a’ roses yourself, so why don’t ya’—❞
Oowada not-so-discretely pulled the collar of his jacket closer to his nose and took a whiff, just to be sure, before he finished that insult.
❝—step off if ya’ don’t like it??❞
