He's the best buddy who dropped explaining asexuality to his ex who broke up with him over it to support his bestie's breakdown and now he's here to fight systemic homophobia in a symbolic battle against queerbaiting. Love the man.

Okay, hear me out... When I wrote that I'd wished GMMTV had given us an older queer romance with the actor who plays Pran's dad in Bad Buddy, A Passin, I couldn't think of anyone else who he could be paired with. But then it hit me today. The actor who plays Aye's uncle in The Eclipse!

Look, with the success of Old Fashion Cupcake, I'm sure there'd be an audience for this. Just look at them! I mean L👀K (at their extensive acting experience, of course)

@miscellar suggested A Passin with Nat Sakdatorn (both pics below). Okay I buy this ship too...OR I raise you further to make it a poly romance with Ron Patarapon To-oun (Dika) as well? (Incidentally, Nat has already done a queer romance - in the film Fathers, so he'd probably be up for it!)

@onnasannomiya suggested Peter Knight and Ex Piya as leads in a romcom and I would just like to say DADDY CHAN MY BELOVED! Yes I would love to see Peter in something like this. Not so sure about Ex Piya but that's probably because I didn't like his character in KinnPorsche (which means he did a great job at acting). So Yes! I'm on board this ship too 👏🏼

I'll just note that if we add one more into the mix then we could potentially re-cast Only Friends...just sayin'...(maybe Sarawut Siriphet from 21 Days Theory as mentioned by @respectthepetty)

Wandee Goodday Ep 1 Stray Thoughts

I've waited so long for this. Please don't let me down.

  • Starting at sex next to a sign that says Have a Good Day.
  • Have a nice day.
  • Drake's character is asexual!
  • How dare they make fun of Kao's eyebrows!?!
  • We have an established gay couple and they are happy!! I am living!!!
  • I know Dr. Ter better not be touching another man's lips when he has no desire to kiss them!
  • Eight years?! I am so embarrassed for this man, because I have also been him.
  • I'm already really feeling the Dee and Kao friendship.
  • I want a whole series of medical professional reactions to this show.
  • Having a good time with Dee and Yak not liking each other from the jump.
  • Bestie likes they the administrator isn't a dick and seems to have a good rapport with his subordinates. I like that he also feels like family and can tease Dee as such.
  • Pit Babe jump scare in the ad.
  • I think they both handled that ribs scene poorly, particularly not eating the ribs. Dee was wrong to throw out another woman's name like that, and he was wrong to push Ter on why he doesn't like him. Ter didn't do a great job of acknowledging Dee's feelings, and also should not have called him vanilla. However, in Dee's defense, that man wiped his goddamn lips.
  • Oh no. Dee is a woo girl.
  • Not this man planning to wander into a mini Mart like "Who want me?"
  • This is an unhinged level of harassment.
  • Wow, finally we acknowledge openly the critical role lube plays in gay sex in conjunction with condom usage. Thank you, Golf Tanwarin.
  • Room 609? I see you, Golf. Tell us a bedtime story.
  • Whoa this guy's bisexual! I didn't know that!
  • Love those check ins from Yak about continuing.

That was such a fun first episode. I had a blast with this. I know I was harsh to another GMMTV show earlier this week, and this is exactly why. We know they can do BL that has a queer touch to it. I will be seated next week.

I am also very excited for the jbls and kbls that will surely drop out of the sky like they did in 2023

I love nothing more than surprise premium content and Korea and Japan don't tend to give us early trailers and a big promo push like Thailand. One thing we know is coming is Hwang Da-Seul's next project, Break The Curse of Taekwondo, and I am very hype for that. Also Choco Milk Shake 2!! Which I am slightly worried about but I trust Strongberry a lot, so I am optimistic. No one ever knows what Japan has cooking and I like it that way--those mofos not only kept us fed with surprise titles in the Drama Shower line up, they also randomly dropped three of the best shows of the whole year right in the last quarter of 2023, and I hope they do it again next year.
