It is actually way better for 100 addicts to get their fix on pain pills than a single person in pain go without. I call this the "Torture is bad" principle. You should be able to get the good stuff forever after a single doctor's visit. If you're worried about addicts fund rehab centers and needle exchanges instead of torturing people.

it's still an open question! humans can handle a wide array of toxic plant alkaloids (theobromine, caffeine, capsaicin, menthols) and generally toxic substances (alcohol) that would put other mammals in the ground, so there's a whole field of study out there trying to figure out why this is!

for now though, feel free to indulge the mystery by indulging in a solid pound of high-quality milk chocolate in front of your sad pets.

#i loved barbie n the excitement around it and everything but#the movie was kind of a bummer for how about ken/men it was 😭#i think the ken jokes were fun but it was too muchhh i know the girls loved the song i hated it#not the song itself but its existence in the movie. it wasnt supposed to be about him!!!#in MY opinion anyway#and yes then allll the focus on godling/ken/even ALAN!!!#like alan was a greta part of the movie i love that he was one of the girls#but ive seen ppl say like he was the best/most important or something NO!! WHAT ABOUT THE WOMEN!!!#anyway id need to watch it again to say more but. i was honestly pretty disappointed in the theater

Halloween is so utterly distinct from every other holiday because it’s literally just about being weird and spooky and having fun. There’s horror movies on tv constantly and the stores are packed with decorations of spiderwebs and fake blood and you can dress as some rotting blood-splattered ghoul and that will be seen as awesome. Baking shows feature challenges where you compete to make the most disturbing and terrifying creations possible. Even commercials and ads often feature horror tropes and monsters. You can celebrate however you want, too; there’s no requirement for family gatherings or specific foods you have to eat or a certain way you’re expected to feel. The world just becomes a little strange and creepy for a month and then goes back to Family-Friendly Happy Times. It’s like Socially Mandated Goth Month and it makes me feel at home
