I’m very excited to share this new commission done by the lovely @carasalexandra Of course it turned out amazing and looks so beautiful! @carasalexandra really did such an amazing job drawing Elain and Lucien! And the way she draws horses is just incredible. The horse looks so realistic and beautiful as well. I keep saying el/riels throwing every where that SJM said that what she had planned for the books didn’t change with the new additions in ACOSF and that confirms el/riel, but.. I think it’s funny bc when writing ACOMAF and ACOWAR she said in that fb post about how she changed Nesta and Lucien to Lucien and Elain bc how they would heal together and that all so for time SJM saying she didn’t change her mind is to confirm Elucien but I can be very wrong 😂

Then cut to 2017, she retcons Lucien to being Hélion’s son, making Lucien the heir of the Day Court, because of this

Then in 2018 acofas comes out. Elucien are still mates.
2021, acosf comes out and elucien are still mates.
Hosab comes out and we have more reason to think that Azriel will have his own separate book. She also said in 2021 that she’s excited to tell his story (and Mor’s and Elain’s).
Sjm has never, not once in these seven years now, talked about e*riel romantically. She has never, to my knowledge, even talked about them as friends.
So yeah. If acosf didn’t change anything then elucien are still mates. If she did, then elucien are still mates.

Another Quinlar/Gwynriel parallel I noticed 👀
