The Last Letter of The Knight-Captain
If you’re reading this, then hopefully I am dead. Light knows it’s been a long time coming, the world has no place in it for things like me, I have always known that I was an abomination, a monster that should never have been created, and I pray that the monstrous part of my mind didn’t cause any more harm now that I am gone. I was never meant to belong, I knew this before, and I am certain of it now, but needless to say, I must thank you for making me doubt that fact, even if only for a short time; it felt nice to believe that I belong to something, something I’d long gone without, and though I never said it aloud, I can say with confidence that the consortium and those associated were more family to me than that my own blood, and again I must thank you for accepting me, despite all my faults, and I apologize for all the trouble I caused, far more than I’m worth in the end. As this is technically my last will and testament, I should mention a few things; I care not what happens with my affairs, save what I have left for Murkey, and that Scratch and Dauntless get good homes, so that leaves but one thing to ask of you, though I am in little position to ask. I ask you to remember, remember why I fought, what I fought for; remember my ideals, my vision of a world where people didn’t have to fight and die by the thousands in the name of age-old hatreds, where the free people of this and all worlds can live in peace without fear of some eldritch horror or power-mad tyrant snatching it all away, where monsters and the desire to make them are but distant memory where they… or rather WE belong… take this image, and strive everyday to make it reality, make the pain and horrors of today become mere recordings in the history books, and that no one has to endure what I had to. Perhaps I ask too much, perhaps you’d rather just put this fool in the ground and forget about him, I can’t fault you for that whatsoever, perhaps what I ask is beyond your want or power, that’s alright, no one can fault me for asking. In the end, it’s up to you, and few would fault you for ignoring a dead fool like me, but that’s your choice to make, not mine; I’ve had more than my fair share of time in this life, and now I can only beg your forgiveness for all the wrongs I’ve done in it, and hope I get what I deserve in the next, cause whatever it is, I know it is long overdue. Stepping Back
So, I will be taking a break from Moria for awhile, due to just feeling drained and losing interest in her. The IRC will also be closing recruitment for most of the officers feel the same. If you want us to cater, I will gladly still do it, but until further notice, we are closing down. Consortium Confections will be open and that is it. I hope you all understand.

On Saturday, July 15th members of both the Horde and Alliance gathered together to celebrate the Heroes of Azeroth. Those who have fought to protect our world from the horrors of the Legion. From food to duels, costume contests to plays, to comedy and fireworks; the evening’s revelry was a much needed chance to gather, reminisce and relax for a night.

Confections Abound!

In the homey streets of Ironforge, one can conjure up thoughts of beautiful objects being created. This was never so true as with the divine creations at ‘Consortium Confections’. It’s a humble shop located to the left as you come through the main gates of Ironforge. Upon entering, I could smell the sugar and vanilla in the air bringing back memories of my grandmother baking. Only behind the counter is not a grandmother, but Lady Moria Falconeye.
She became a baker because of her children, and now it’s a family affair with the children and Moria teaming up together to make this store happen. A number of the items on the extensive menu at Consortium Confections are thanks to her children. “They help come up with new flavors and ideas.” She said when I asked about her children’s role in the store. “Though I try to keep them out of the kitchen, the oldest two are seven as of this month.”
With children that young it’s not a huge stretch of the imagination that the store’s items, ranging from humble sugar cookies to Savanna S’more cheesecake are sure to be a hit with the younger crowd. The shop caters to all ages though with cleverly disguised ‘Wicked’ candies which are infused with liquor. As the store’s motto goes “Guaranteed to garner someone’s affection through our confections.”
The store is located in Ironforge and while the great Dwarven capital may not have the traffic it once garnered, it seems now to be a home for people who are trying to get away. “Stormwind is so busy and chaotic. Ironforge is relatively calm, and the Dwarves are so welcoming.”
Welcoming is exactly what Consortium Confections is all about. Moria’s staff has become a family in of itself. Which as she said can be a lot of fun and a challenge when people are on a sugar high. She shared some of the antics her workers get into. “Nalsrum VokunHaan, the ‘Milkshake King’ because of how theatrically he handles making them. It tends to be a rule that while he’s here, no one else can make Milkshakes.”
With a friendly atmosphere like that, it’s not hard to wonder why it’s becoming a popular place to hang out. Moria did warn that her top sellers The Highland Dragon’s claws ( A caramel and toasted coconut cookie) and her Lemon Cups (A sweet, slightly crumbly cookie filled with tart, silky smooth lemon curd, dressed up with a sprinkle of powdered sugar) are hard to keep on the shelves. So if you want to try one of her best sellers you better get in there early. My own splurge was a Bourbon and Cream cake that I’m offering up to my coworkers.
In the end Moria wants everyone to come to her store to have a good experience. Her doors are open every Thursday from six to nine. Though you can always write her for a delivery or catering for your event.
For me Consortium Confections is just one of those shining gems that’s waiting among all the hidden areas of Ironforge. Going in it reminded me of a simpler time, and one where honest minds and creative spirit truly wins out. I’ll be returning again for more delightful items for my office. After all, doesn’t our world need a bit more sweetness?

With the loss of a long-standing member of Wyrmrest Accord [NA], Silversun Industries is doing all that it can to ensure that this valued member of the community is not forgotten.
David Deering, also known by his in-game alias Vradic (in-character Y'akov Vradic), passed away Wednesday June 28th, 2017 after a long standing battle with cancer. It is our goal that this Champion of the Life both in-game and out of game is remembered.
Why Silvermoon City?
As many people know while on Horde side, David played as a Sin'dorei (Blood Elf) Protection Paladin. People would always find him wandering about Silvermoon, offering friendly greetings and hellos. Many quote him with his typical greeting: “Hello all you happy people!”
Why the benches outside? Why not somewhere else?
Aside from spending his time inside the city, David also spent his days in-game outside in the small gardens at the entrance of Silvermoon when he wasn’t helping guildmates and others. Aside from it being -the- location to find the character Vradic, it’s also an area that many people in-game just run by and don’t think much of. We have already placed a character there in memory of him, but if we lose the account, that character is gone as well.
Why a lute of all things?
David was a musical artist as well as Vradic in-game. There were many times on Discord where David would just randomly sing to us all. He was also the first person to always sing happy birthday on any of our special days. Aside from being a great singer, Vradic’s voice held soul and a beyond comforting tone. The lyrics of his own written songs were thoughtful, warming, and moved a person on their first hearing.

Why is this important?
It’s important for many reasons, but to us the WrA community, David was a member of the realm since it’s launch. As time comes and goes, many people move realms or even quit the game. He never turned his back on the realm and was always there through all of the good times and the bad times. He went out of his way in order to help those around him. Through roleplay, gearing in dungeons and raids, a shoulder to cry on, or a partner to stay up talking to until four in the morning. David was there for all of us, shining his Holy Light in the darkness of our lives to help us forward.

We have been notified that the Silversun Industries have a petition for their fallen member. We ask ALL of our allies and friends to help our Horde brothers and getting this dedication, and I ask you all to help band together to place a permanent remembrance in game for an individual who has touched so many lives, both in their guild and out.
If there was any cause to bring the server together and do good, this is it.

Shadowbrand Acquisitions and Harboson Company would like to officially invite you, and yours, out to Nagrand in Draenor to celebrate the Midsummer Fire Festival with a long night of Stargazing! Ludlow Vineyards will be presenting a large assortment of their finest summer wines! Ironrose Consortium’s booth has food, drinks and other fun treats available for purchase! Shadowbrand Acquisitions’ “Relaxing" Sweets Shoppe will be making another public appearance for a brief time. A presentation of Azeroth’s Astronomy and Constellations will be provided during the later hours of the evening. Finally, the festival will draw to a close with grand fireworks display and raffle filled with rare, unique, items hosted by Harboson Company!

Selling every imaginable sweet treat, from cookies to milkshakes, the Consortium Confections even offers delivery service for those who have larger order needs.
With the owner, Lady Moria Yamina behind the counter customers were treated to delectable treats like her signature Ranger Scout Cookies to slices of delicious cheesecake. Made by the Consortium’s own bakers the treats are sure to satisfy even the most grumpy of individuals.
So next time you’re in Ironforge stop by the shop to sate your sweet tooth!

Guild Name: The Concilium / Concilium Guild Server: Wyrmrest Accord Faction: Horde / Alliance Focus: RP / PvP and Light PvE
IC Guild Info: The Concilium is a Chaotic Neutral themed guild that is cult-like inspired. Disguised as a group of mercenaries that share a common goal with trade and marketing that pleases that chaotic mind and noble heart. We use the appropriate tools to get what we need, no matter whom we must take in the process. Witches, assassins, murders and much more gather to enjoy the wicked delights life has to offer while hitting from behind at the hour no one would expect. The Concilium has a variety of opportunities to offer, and talents, no matter how terribly looked upon they are, will never go to waste.
OOC Description: The Guild is broken into two parts. The Concilium Cult which is not open to all. Those who have seen prompts known as the calling is the way for one to get involved in the cult aspect of the guild. The trade and marketing aspect of the guild is open to all. Those who have found “flyers” within the city may walk up and be given an interview to see where their character best fits. Because the dark theme aspect of the guild ties in with everything else we ask that members be of 18 and other. Some of the themes will have torture, triggers, drug use and things that are not suited for those under age. Please understand that some of us just do not feel comfortable writing such dark things with minors. Aside from the RP aspect of the guild we are searching for more pvpers to do arenas and rbgs with. We casually dip our toons into some PvE aspects of the game but over all this is a RP/PVP guild.
There is now a guild on Alliance side for those who wish to join. The guild on the Alliance faction will be driven by the same concept as the Horde. There will be a new group introduced that delves into more of the PvE aspects of the game.
The Players: Our players consist of a different variety of people. From the out going social butterflies to those who are kind of shy and just watch in the safety of their bubble. We are all adults though sometimes get a little silly. Our members are very understanding and follow two simple rules. IRL comes first, and it is important. If you need to take a break, we understand and won’t hunt you down and sacrifice you in our next event. {Totally kidding we won’t do that.} Finally IC IS IC AND OOC IS OOC. There is nothing more annoying than when ic and OOC get mixed.
Other than that. We are a fun group that wants to enjoy the game and create wonderful stories for others to read as stated below our discord has more information about the guild.Not everyone has to be in the guild ICly to have a good time with us.

Steelgrove Syndicate Fight Night

First, a thank you to Steelgrove Syndicate for running such a great event that had people from all over come out and pit their skills against one another.
Second, Congratulations go out to The Royal Courier’s own Martinius Calgar for braving the fights and arising victorious against a previous Fight Night champion.
All of the combatants were strong and able, they fought with all their skill. The champions won gold and the pride of having bested some of the best competition who braved the evening to fight alongside them.
