dude the dwarf fortress devs are awesome, tbh. its extremely refreshing to see normal people get rewarded for their efforts as a result of catering to niche audiences

I see where you're coming from but I don't know if I would describe the creator of dwarf fortress as normal

Oh yeah it's excellent to see esoteric madmen rewarded for their many years of madness.

I had fun redesigning Orks so they’re algae tardigrade aliens instead of green muscle guys.

Most things about them are the same green boyz we love, but now they photosynthesize and can survive any condition in a tun state - extra unkillable bastards.

They look extra bitey, I love them!

All this talk about space marine husbandry, where are the stories of necrons adopting flocks of adoring tech-priests

Maybe in Warhammer 40k, ‘Fuck’ is like an antiquated swear word. Like it’s so old fashioned that its usage actively diminishes your seriousness. ‘Fuck’ is on the same level as ‘golly gee’ and ‘horse feathers’. A commissar says ‘Fuck’ and is driven out of his Guard unit after the troops won’t stop asking him if he wants to mosey down to the druggist for a cold sarsaparilla.

Hey everyone! In collaboration with: https://www.instagram.com/enter.the.butcher/ Iron Butchers I’ve painted a birth of the monstrous engine created by the Dark Mechanicum. The first artwork of this creature is here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/03D2Wy

In this work I wanted to return to this creature, I guess it's a sort of deeply customized titan. And to show how it is maintained. The place of action is the warband's space ship the Iron Maw which I also happened to paint. The creature restores its power before next battle. I hope you enjoy the grim dark look of a forge deep inside the sheep.
