I have a headcanon that Pan and Kirjava actually settled earlier than most other kids’ dæmons because of everything Lyra and Will went through forcing them to reach emotional maturity faster. Because, in La Belle Sauvage Alice is an older teenager (16? Not sure what the working age is in her universe) and she and Ben are still unsettled.

Showed up to GBBO SU2C hoping to hear James McAvoy talk about daemons and His Dark Materials, and was rewarded with a Lord Asriel Super Fan McAvoy baking a cake in the shape of a snow leopard in honour of Stelmaria and naming it after his son Brendan. 😭😭😭
