I woud l say two qualities that you have to have to make it in the industry, would be to have such an incredibly strong sense of self. It’s really imperative when you get out here to know that you can only reach happiness internally, rather than source it from external things. And it’s very difficult when you first start out and you face peeks and valleys, and I think having that strong foundation in yourself really is going to serve you well. The other tings is let go of what people think of you. It’s a huge thing, and you get thrust out into this world where everyone can make judgements, and tell you what they think, and it can be very disheartening at times, and if you really just trust who you are, and you follow your own instincts and intuition, I think that it will take really far.

I do feel incredibly blessed in my life. I’ve been given amazing opportunities in my life and even when I’m tired, like right now, I try not to lose sight of all the blessings in my life. I’m enjoying it. It’s what I’ve always dreamed of doing. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to the point in my life where I feel like ‘I’ve made it’. But right now I’m happy with where things are at and hopefully it will continue to grow.

Imagine being That Het that needs to police every single gay writer because you thirsting after more Het storylines. Icb I dare write Emma as bisexual and soon, deaf bisexual Ste.ve Ro.gers when no writer in the face of HISTORY has written them as such but OH they both have very bi-coded storylines and OH if they can be gay, they will be because it’s 20GAYTEEN and us, The Gays, have every right to want representation instead of half assed seemingly, kinda implied One Moment things.
