So I’ve thought about it a lot and I don’t even know when I’m going to get the opportunity to wear him again, and I could use the space, so I’m selling my Lion quadsuit!

I’m asking for $1,500 (plus shipping if I can’t deliver in person), but I’m open to payment plans and negotiation. He’s my first suit so he’s not perfect quality, but I’ll be sprucing him up for his new home, making sure the electronics (fans and lights) are working nicely, replacing the dirty bottoms of his paws, etc.

The underclothes have removable padding and are machine washable, and he’s made for someone 5'2" and 200 lbs with a women’s size 7 shoe, but there’s definitely some flexibility in fit, and padding can be switched out for slightly different sizing if necessary.

Some fun features are articulated front paws on the arm stilts, light up eyes and a light up patch on the mane, four large computer fans in the mane for ventilation, posable tail, and a harness to help support the weight of the head. Also, he’s latex free, as the nose and paw pads are made from foam and plastidip.

(Note that the top of the mane has been filled in with a lot more fur than in the last picture, but I included it because it shows the body shape nicely.)

New Corset Review this week! (Thank you to YouTube for demonetizing it…) Here’s a sweet, frilly overbust from Axfords in the UK (a company that has been in the corset business for almost 140 years). It wasn’t made to measure, so it doesn’t fit my body perfectly - I was, however, surprised by how many details they’ve retained over the past century - tiny eyelets, lightweight construction, etc.

There’s more discussion on my blog (stuff that didn’t fit into the video review).

Day 14 of #victorianfebruary is Love! As soon as I saw today’s theme I knew which picture I would post. This mid 1880’s gown is everything I want on a #victorian gown. This dress is on my growing list of eventual sewing projects. #historicalfashion #historicalcostume #peacockcolors
