At first i was like "oh I like the platonic relationshipe better" but the ship has grow on me now, sadly every snily fic is an au which I am not used to 😭

What r ur fav headcanons?

I specially love childhood snily headcanons, they are cute and very wholesome, this is the moment in their lives where they develop the deep emotional attachment that makes them stick together before the teen/death eater drama comes up and some of them are:

-they met when they were 8 years old, the books say that Snape couldnt be older than 9 or 10 but does not give us an specific age, he could be younger, as far as we know and the longer the childhood friendship last, the better.

-Severus never celebrated his own birthday before meeting Lily, she was very outraged ("how can you have no cake? no music? no fun?") and since they both were born in January, Lily decides they should just pretend like her party was his too, they exchange small presents.

-Lily practiced ballet and in one of her ballet presentations, severus tried to transfigure a bunch of daisies into a rose bouquet for her but they reverted back (idk, he is still beginning to control his magic) Lily thought the daisies were just as lovely as any rose.

-Lily also enjoys soccer and Severus happens to be surprinsigly good at it (this ties with my other hc that, ironically, Severus sucks at magic sports like quidditch while being very good in the muggle ones), they spend hours playing.

-Lily was actually bullied at her muggle school, no reason, sometimes kids are assholes and Severus would defend her, the other kids became afraid of him because he would use wandless magic on them, Lily thought it was a little morally questionable but she couldnt argue it wasnt effective.

-on that note, severus would often skip muggle school, he would just not go because he didnt like it and no one was really paying attention to what he was doing, he invited Lily to join him in his escapades and she said yes, multiple times. (until petunia told her parents because she is a no fun tattle teller!)

-in these escapades they would do gross stuff like swimming in the very unsanitary river, go trash diving to find "treasures", and do lots and lots of unsupervised underage magic

-the Evans family did not like severus much, there is some things that even magic cant change sadly but Lily would sneak her friend into her house regardless, in fact sometimes when things where specially bad at the Snapes´s home, Severus would climb to Lily´s room and have a secret sleepover there, they stopped when they were 14 because they became aware that boys and girls are not supposed to have sleepovers.

-The Evans, while not abusive, arent perfect, they created this dinamic of the golden child for Lily that she doesnt feel comfortable in, sometimes she dislikes being expected to be perfect and Severus allows her to be more openly messy.

Severus was very much touch starved when he was younger and this is something that continued in his adult years. He will view sometimes what appears to be the smallest things as being rather intimate such as touching his face, touching his hand (especially holding it) and touching his side round about his ribs. His hands are his work and his trade and are particularly sensitive to touch and when people do touch his hands, he really enjoys it.
