65 countries criminalise private, consensual, same-sex sexual activity. The majority of these jurisdictions explicitly criminalise sex between men via ‘sodomy’, ‘buggery’ and ‘unnatural offences’ laws.

41 countries criminalise private, consensual sexual activity between women using laws against ‘lesbianism’, ‘sexual relations with a person of the same sex’ and ‘gross indecency’

12 countries have jurisdictions in which the death penalty is imposed or at least a possibility for private, consensual same-sex sexual activity.

14 countries criminalise the gender identity and/or expression of transgender people, using so-called ‘cross-dressing’, ‘impersonation’ and ‘disguise’ laws.

And while telling teens these facts, I hear "good"...

  • You look like the lorax (which make literally no sense)
  • (in response to ^ ) "no you don't miss, you look like that black haired dude that wanted the trees to die"
  • Go eat your burger king
  • I hope you die
  • I'm gonna kill you in your sleep
  • Stupid bitch
  • Get out my face and mind your business (I was across the room from him and wasn't talking to him)
  • Don't fucking touch me (I took a water bottle from him because he was about to pour it onto a plug socket)
  • Fat ugly bitch
  • Hope you die on the way home

As you can tell. I'm very happy in my job and I can't wait to stay in the profession of teaching

The new school year has started. I am hopeful, let's see how long it lasts.

Two years, then I am fully qualified and can teach anywhere in the world. That is what I want. Unfortunately it means staying in this country for those two years, at least.

#i had a panic attack sunday night thinking about how i was gonna fuck up the lives of these young people#but after going in today and setting up my classroom. i feel better#i put rainbow and heart window stickers up around my classroom and im letting my form decorate the room to make it their own#i want this year to be good. i need this year to be good
