Announcement Time!!! I’ve decided that I’m going to be leaving my Hetalia Ask Blogs, make my Indias Independent OCs and leave the fandom. I’ve not really been feeling as interested in Hetalia and Nationverse as of late and I want to develop my own content. Besides, my characters have always been my own and I won’t be thinking of them as Hetalia OCs/Characters anymore when I continue building them up. This ask blog has been a large part of my life and I met so many wonderful people through it, so I’m not deleting it, just archiving it and moving on. I’ll be leaving my gods AU India and Cohabitation 2P India blogs up as archived blogs as well. I may delete or revamp Hogwarts India and Cohabitation India though! Thank you for all the good memories, take care everyone!

I’m like legit freaking out because i literally loved reading about this so hecking much???  Like indigenous Pakistani folklores and mythologies?? yes please! ;;;v;;; Though i must say, i really liked the fire orb and Tirich mir ones. I’ll be linking this person’s twitter too, he really puts a lot of effort into making threads regarding different parts and aspects of Pakistani people and our regional History, with actual citations. Seeing work like this being done gives me such a happy feeling, and i hope to share some of that with you guys too :”D

It makes sense for chitrali mythology to be rich, considering the neighboring Kalasha of the Kalash Valley follow a ancient animistic religion and some of these mythologies may be considered as some of the deities they believe in. Like the author mentioned in his article, its also very interesting to see how much influence chitrali mythology has from various other cultures. Perks of being situated along the Ancient Silk road route maybe? cool stuff.

Io Saturnalia!

17–23 December the Romans traditionally celebrate Saturnalia. Most known for the exessive feasts in which people switched from their ordinairy dayly roles. Parents had to obey their offspring and slaves were served dinner by their masters. All work was put down for celebrations.

What they relive is the legend of a time where Saturnus and Janus ruled the country peacefully together. A time where all people were free and equal and had no private posessions. The Golden Years.

Nowadays the Roman brothers celebrate it each in their own way. Romulus still considers everyone equal these days and engages conversations with anyone; men, women and children, to philosophize how to reach this Perfect Society again.

Remus sees a connection to the Lost Paradise and has a more spiritual approach. He also thinks higher of the opinions of his cat than women and the working class.

The cat, Thaleia, doesn't care about Saturnalia as long as she get's spoiled.
