Hvitserk was looking for his brothers when he found them all in the courtyard, “what’s going on?” he asked but that’s when he realized what they were watching. you and Halfdan were squaring off.

“Isn’t she your woman?” Ubbe asked. 

“nothing serious,” Hvitserk said but watching the way Halfdan looked at you set your teeth on edge. 

“she’s a great warrior.” Ivar mused with admiration.

every man in the square was watching you and it made Hvitserk angry. you were his… well, you weren’t, but that should change.
