The emotion in this scene is amazing.

I think Azula is one of the most complicated characters in the Avatar series. She’s so spiteful and she acts like she doesn’t need anybody, but really she’s just afraid. She’s afraid of being alone. This scene made me have so many mixed feelings. She’s still one of the Gangs greatest adversaries but I felt like we actually got to see Azula as she actually is. A girl struggling to cope with the lose of her closest friends and her mother. I wish we had gotten to hear more about her past because I still feel like we’re missing something from her story…

Azula really is the definition of tragic villain.
