At first, when you joined the team he didn't pay much attention towards you. He just saw you as another teammate maybe a pal to drink with.

• You spent most of your time with engie seeing how both of your jobs surrounded around building machines, with you making your ammo and guns.
• Demo is also kinda a nerd, he does make is own bombs and is quite passionate about it (as seen in his meet the demo vid)
• After some time being with the team you've gotten used to the dynamic, and part of that dynamic is being put on demo duty. When demo gets too drunk someone has to deal with him so he doesn't end up killing himself. And for you it's your turn

• You end up dragging his ass to his room. With him immediately passing out. You take this time to look around his room a bit. The room filled with bottles of scrumpy and stuff presumingly from his home country. You take a look at his bombs set on a far table on the left of his room. It looks like he was in progress on some of these. He's going to need these for battle tomorrow, I'll just finish it for him, you think.
• You pass out as soon as your done with the bombs. Demo wakes up and sees you he smiles a bit then wakes up. "Ey wake up," "huh what, oh hey Demo" you start to stretch. Demo coughs a bit awkwardly "Hey thanks for ya'know," he gestures towards the bombs, "Fixing them up for me." you get up and start to walk away. "Yeah, yeah no biggie, see you on the battlefield."
• That's when Demo really started to notice you. He started paying attention to you more and really hanging around you more. You guys started having more active conversations then just small talk while drinking.
• These conversations now and then turned into a great friendship. With you mostly hanging out in Demo's room. Talking about anything that comes to mind. But every now and then Demo seeks you out in your room.
• "Heh good times," Demo finishes telling his stories of him and soldier. You wipe a small tear from laughing so hard. "Oh I can imagine, I wouldn't expect less from soldier." Demo starts to get a bit tongue-tied when he looks at you, bright smile and your cute laughter made him practically die on the spot. "Hey, Demo you ok?" You ask a smirk still on your lips "Oh uh yeah im fine," He takes a swig of scrumpy and blushes a bit it's not too noticeable but it's there.
• After that night Demo started acting off around you more and kept his eye on you in battle more than he would before. It wasn't until his mother beat it into her son's brain did he realize he liked you. He didn't know if it was the way you looked, fought, or even talked but he loved it all.
• Being in the same room with you was good enough for him, he would love to spends hours listening to you talk about your little gizmos and gadgets. Don't get him started on the way you fight he swoons when he sees you.
• It takes him a while to actually tell you how he feels but when he does he pours his heart out to you.
