Where’s that good greaser aesthetic Alfred? Turn of the century Alfred? 60s hippie Alfred? Coca Cola advertisement Alfred? Standing on the beach in his bomber in that 70s poster style for travel agencies while Hotel California plays in the background Alfred?

France had always carried the underlying echo of fear for Alfred. Since he had been raised by Arthur- he had been told horror stories about the French and their far too Catholic ways. He brushed his breeches off and he tried to focus on the design of the tile on the floor. It was beyond anything he had ever seen in America- it was art like only the French could do.

As he waited now, for Francis to come retrieve him, he felt nervous. He had been called to come to France by Adams and Franklin. After three months sailing, here he was. His feet were still burning and scarred by frost bite but he, for once, wore one of the silk suits that Arthur had provided him years ago.
