An image stacked photo (for depth of field) and a long exposure for the sky. Taken in the wild backcountry of Jasper National Park.
The sun sank lower and suddenly the air was illuminated by thousands of insects, transforming into bokeh as I photographed the willow tree, which was swaying lazily in the breeze. I had to lower my camera, though, in awe of the sight before me; the air seemed alive as it glittered and sparkled. #exploreBC #iLoveBC #greatnorthcollective
It feels like this is the first weekend I've spent at home for a very long time. So, we spent the day exploring a whole bunch of back roads locally. We were in sunshine, hail, rain, more sunshine, and the autumn colours couldn't have put on a better show. 🍂🍂✌🏼 #exploreshuswap #agameoftones #explorebc
Fog began descending at a remarkable rate. What little view of the mountains we had was gone within moments. And mere seconds later, we realized it was not fog that had closed in on us, darkening the sky, obscuring everything - it was snow. We broke trail in, and broke trail back out, amazed and humbled by the swiftness with which the mountain weather can change. #travelstoke #lakeohara #yohonp @ripclearusa
"Wandering is the activity of the child, the passion of the genius; it is the discovery of the self, the discovery of the outside world, and the learning of how the self is both "at one with" and "separate from" the outside world. These discoveries are as fundamental to the soul as "learning to survive" is fundamental to the body. These discoveries are essential to realizing what it means to be human. To wander is to be alive." - Roman Payne.
