The French hijab ban pisses me off so much. The very idea of a hijab ban is irrefutably a violation, undeniably discriminatory and bigoted. And to enforce it upon your athletes, your champions competing for you at like the biggest sporting event, it's so disrespectful and audacious. It's such a clear disregard for your athletes. They're not just your athletes, they're your people, but France has made it clear they don't care about French Muslims.

Once again requesting mutual aid as alongside a stomach tumor, I also seem to have long covid and can barely work right now with my fatigue and breathing issues.

I am an indigenous disabled, neurodivergent, intersex, non-binary lesbian (really got the short end of the stick).

I spend basically all my free time at appointments or getting treatment, and have almost no time I can work anymore. I do have a job, but my income is minimal and I mainly survive on disability pension. I also have debts from previous health crises where I had to take on loans to make ends meet.

Following asexuality activist Yasmin Benoit on twitter has been one blunt example after another of the aggression and hostility that aces of color have to face, and how often every imaginable bigotry will get piled behind a more “acceptable” acephobic face to attack and tear them down.

In the name of questioning her identity as asexual, the author of the review she shared is practically playing anti-blackness bingo.  We’re constantly hearing “teenagers can’t say they’re asexual!  they’re too young!  that inherently sexualizes other teenagers!”  And then here, they say that because a black 14 year old went to Pride, she obviously was “interested in sexual activity” as a way to frame (and undermine) a later “swap” to asexuality.  

It’s no surprise, but it’s wild these people can call themselves feminists when they see “beautiful black woman” and start sexualizing and objectifying her like the most stereotypical perverted men.  “This 14 year old went to pride, so she’s interested in sex!!” sounds stolen straight from predatory rape culture, not to mention homophobia.  “She’s dressing too revealing, this makes her interested in sex” is ALSO straight from predatory rape culture.  The description of what she was wearing sounds straight from some misogynistic novel that we’d drag to hell and back for describing women by the state of their breasts.  And yet it all becomes fair game to try to set up some kind of contradiction between a black woman’s stated identity and her existence.

Okay my last post got 0 traction or donations, so here we go again.

I’m a 2-spirit indigenous lesbian and survival sex worker, who is severely physically disabled, immunocompromised, and neurodivergent. I had a “ministroke” only twoish weeks ago, likely from stress, and just found out I have genetic heart disease.

My phones touch screen is broken, my drawing tablet doesn’t connect anymore, I owe 125 in phone bills, and am over 2k in debt due to needing to escape a transphobic roommate (debt is from the first months rent, getting basic furniture and food staples, and paying a damage deposit plus covering my roommates pet deposit (they have been paying me back, but have limited income too.)

Without my phone or drawing tablet I have no additional income sources outside of a meager disability pension (that barely covers my rent and food bills), so those are my priorities right now. If I pay my phone bill off I can upgrade to a new model (I need a decent camera for camming), and hopefully I can start making income again for my other bills.

Hoping to raise 400 for the phone bill, upgrade fees, and new tablet. Extra donations will go towards my active debt.

Help two non-binary lesbians escape dangerous housing!

I just poured every dime I had (including my savings, my money for covid, etc) into the damage deposit and pet deposit and first half months rent for a new safe housing situation. This was only possible due to donations already recieved.

I am native, severely physically disabled, neurodivergent, trans (tme), and a lesbian. My friend is the same, aside from them being white. Neither of us have access to loans or family help (as we are extremely low income, and either our family is low income or not safe to contact).

We still need basic furniture, food, cleaning supplies, and moving boxes so we can be fully stable.

Ideally we would get additional funds towards next months rent as every month will be tight until we can both find longterm employment.
