I imagine their beginning ship to be scrappy, with just enough to get by and not grandeur at all. It’s kinda ugly, but it’s safe. It’ll be their main transportation when going on any space adventures.

By popular request, I have now tried a “happy” comic. A new character is also introduced. But I don’t know yet if this one will appear again. It was a lot of fun to draw this comic, but I think the heartbreaking stories are more my style :’)

My dad was a straight-ticket Democrat, gave money to the ACLU, and left the Catholic church when his local parish prioritized a new, bigger church over hungry parishioners. He was VERY liberal. 

He voted for Al Gore in 2000.

In 2004 (when he was 75yo) an injury forced him to spend time at an assisted living facility for rehab. The TVs there were all tuned to Fox News.

All it took was six months.

Upon his release that’s all he watched. He obsessed over Fox. Became convinced liberals were out to destroy HIS America.

From 2004 onwards I watched my liberal dad – the guy who imbued me with my beliefs and values – decline into a ranting, angry, hateful person. 

He almost died alone because I told him I simply could NOT stand to hear any more about how Obama was ruining the country. He relented, and I said goodbye to him in 2011 at his hospice, only because we agreed not to discuss “politics”.

Fox News is pure 100% brainwashing. I’ve seen it up close, and it is evil.

It wasn’t Fox News with my dad, it was another evil. Talk Radio. The far right has pretty much taken over talk radio and monopolized it, and through it radicalized a lot of people. My dad worked nights, driving, so he listened to a lot of this crap. Rush Limbaugh and even worse people. There’s like, nothing on the left even close to the amount of ears these people can reach, every day and every night, spewing their hatred and their vile thoughts. Talk Radio is Fox News on steroids and both are evils that need to be addressed.

It’s important to recognize the way people are radicalized and find ways to counter it.

i grew up with both of my parents practically worshipping fox news, and often listening to those same talk radio shows in almost every car ride with my dad. this shit brainwashed me my entire childhood and i carry so much guilt from all the trash i used to believe. breaking that mindset is something i will probably struggle with for the rest of my life and i hate that i ever once sided with these awful people.

always get your information from multiple sources, kids. do actual research. dont just listen to fox news and your conservative dad’s rants. kids being raised like that is why our country is so fucked up.

saiki is LITERALLY the most arrogant person in the show. teruhashi doesnt hold a candle to him. you say that he’s modest and i’ll sit you down and force you to watch the entire show, cause you obviously havent been paying attention.

Teruhashi literally just wants to make people's day with her perfection and she puts so much work into it, she's a GOOD GIRL and I will write anybody who doesn't think so a long ass essay ok.

Do I like Teruhashi? No. I despise her. She’s written to be a ‘perfect pretty girl’ and I don’t like that, it’s simply a pet peeve of mine. I don’t like her at all, but I still think she’s at least not an entirely bad person because she tries to at least be nice to people. Do I like Saiki better? Yes. By a long shot.

Teru isn’t the best but she is a queen in the aspect that she tries to be nice to everyone no matter who they are. But neither Saiki nor Teru is better than the other. Saiki can be sorta rude but HE ALWAYS MAKES UP FOR IT.

I should correct myself from my earlier reply.

Teruhashi isn’t a sweetheart per se, but she HAS flaws. Saiki isn’t arrogant. He is cold at times, but that’s because that’s just his personality. Literally it is a PLOT POINT in Reawakened that he is an evolutionary step above humans. So he is n’t arrogant, he knows he’s better, no matter how self-centered that sounds. He IS.

Also, if I hate Teruhashi and like Saiki, that doesn’t mean I’m a misogynist. I’m not.

What do you mean saiki isn't arrogant? There's a whole ass panel where he says he's an entirely different species compared to humans.

And if you don't read the manga it's also in reawakened on the very first episode where he flats out say it.

I don't know where you got the "saiki isn't arrogant" shit from, buy saiki is an arrogant baby bitch in the beginning of the show and it can't be denied.

Teruhashi is also arrogant by it's used differently. She knows she's better then everyone but goes out of her way to make everyone's day better while saiki just vibes.

They're both arrogant but that trait has been used differently on the both of them.

You should like her cause of her character. That character being the perfect pretty girl that goes out of her way to bring a smile to everyone's faces.
