Snatch hand back, giving Harisson the salty eye. You know I was being sarcastic! Tense sneer while rubbing her hand and look away. “I believe you..” She added hollow. “Felt something through the touch. Could be im over sensetive..”  Wrinkle pointy nose, recalling Harrison say it toke practise. Snappy moves on.
“Guess, it would’t do any harm! Need a blue boys input. Only discussed the whole thing with my husband so far tho, so, not clear on the details. What I do recal however is I got this… ‘disorder’ from a Megamind. Like, six years ago. Give or take.” She rambled out, side eyeing Harrison.
Harrison arches an eyebrow.  “You got a disorder from a Megamind?  What, like an STD?  Cuz those generally don’t give you psychic powers,” he asks, displaying his usual utter lack of tact.
“What?” Puzzled she glares at him. “Shall we call it a glitch to make things easier for you…” Alixon teased dry and grin.
“Hardly call it psychic powers. Why do you imply that? For all my knowledge as a scientist it could be an unknown virus taking over my mind or wash away my consciousness in a maze of information I can’t counter.” She grumble. Al had obviously though about this enough to get odd theories while staying strangely calm. Pale pink’s study Harrison where he sit’s, gradually giving of this creepy curiousness. “Your people’s brains haven’t really been examined or tested properly.” She add, gesturing toward his forehead. “Why would you need such a GIANT head?? HUM?”

Now Harrison looks completely baffled.  “Wait, you need to back up here,” he says, raising a hand in the gesture of ‘stop’ as though that could compel her to slow down.  “Are you talking about catching a disease or a spell or what?  This giant head needs more detail then that.”   He can’t help with something he doesn’t understand and usual she isn’t exactly a font of information.

“And besides, since when are you a scientist?” he asked, crossing his arms in front of him.

“It isn’t a party trick,” Harrison cautioned her with a sigh,  willing to try but wanting to keep expectations realistic.  Harrison slipped his hand into hers, holding it loosely and taking in the contrast of her newly brown skin on his blue.
“Like any skill it takes practice, both in sending signals and receiving them,” he explained, looking her in the eye.  “It’s always easier with intense emotions like fear and panic.  But considering that you’re not freaking out this time, we’ll just have to see what we can get.”  He took in a deep breath, letting his sinuses relax and search for what she might be feeling.
“Skepticism,” he says, not that he needed to be an empath to figure that one out.  “Low levels of annoyance.  And….. great affection.  You’re thinking of someone you love very much.” He looked her in the eye.  “Which I’m guessing isn’t me,” he quipps with a wry smile.
Grin dropped as eye’s bit by bit expand in uncomfortable anticipation. ““ah!”” Al grimaced Harrison coming to a stop, setting her stomach in motion over such a snide look. fuckingdangithowfoolish!! Rather sour Alixon grunt low and quickly looks away, lip’s puckering. He simply described how she usually felt around his sneaky bullshit and, she let herself get all engrossed. She thought. Easier time trusting Puck. Curses. ““Yeah. It’s, That’s. nothing new.”” She mumbled flustered. “That devotion never leave.” Sure he warned, no expectation’s. But it had fitted her theories  so well!
Harrison gave her hand a little squeeze.  “You know me, hopelessly devoted to you,” he said dramatically.  “Now,” he said, letting go of her hand.  “Do you want to tell me what’s going on here?  Because I don’t need psychic powers to tell you know more than you’re saying.”

Stare annoyed. Alixon’s aim upon the blue man’s face had been worse then smudge his glasses. Yet, while cracking the joints of her knuckles afterwards, gaining this response she see it might been for the best or Harrison had held back any help he earlier willfully given. Least he backed of. This whole cusin deal made her almost as nervious as not attacking him reapetedly.
“Ermm..What about mental powers..?” She huffs under the twitchy smile. “Got any of those in the bag?” Quickly pointing out to mr brag. “A great intellect dosent count!”
Harrison raised an eyebrow.  “I wouldn’t call them powers persaaay,” he drawled, choosing his words carefully.  “My– our species has some minor empathic abilities.  Basically we read a combination of electrochemical signals and pheromones in such a way that we can more easily figure out what people are feeling.  It’s strongest among family and close friends but certain strong emotions I can pick up even off strangers.  Especially with touch.”
He shrugged, trying to seem nonchalant.  “It’s not even conscious, for years I didn’t even realize I was doing it.  Makes business negotiations a bit easier though,” he added, giving her a vicious smile with plenty of teeth.
A chuckling groan slipped hearing this, Alixon somewhat contempt but didn’t move away from the blue man. “Make sense… You know a to much for comfort.” Al huffed. Didn’t recall much from her migraine attack, but Harrison had noticed far more then one normally would as an outside of her condition. She wanted it to be true too, made her own theories believable. Lift and held palm out, starring Harrison down challenging. “Kindy, prove it though~” Grin. “Where not close, still, be more convincing.” By now her own feeling’s where steadier then ever before, dulled by the new painful, happy, sad, loving, hurtful, hateful- memories tussling in her mind. It was exhausting and made her sleep and blast more for pressure relife. Manageable with Drago’s constant essence from his heart, beating in her shest, but would Harrison feel anything of that or mearly the overworked individual.

“Now I recall…” Al hisses, wrinkling her pointy nose. The warnings time to wise up over, owning Harrison two fingers straight into his fluttering orbs of deception. Been a ball kick him into the dirt though he been to close for comfort OR elbowroom.
“Told you to back off….cuz” Al reapeted insulting, grinning sly.
“… SO!” Brush her shoulder off and smiled professional, like nothing happen. “You where going to fill me in on any answered I want of ouuuuur kind.”
“Hey!” Harrison yelped as she poked him right in his glasses.  “Don’t break these!  They’re Versace!”  It succeeds in getting him to sit up, mostly so he can take off the designer glasses and examine them for any damage.  Then when satisfied that she didn’t harm them, clean her grimy fingerprints off using the corner of his shirt.
“I suppose the answers are going to depend on the questions,” he finally replies, as he slides the glasses back on.  “But you haven’t asked me any yet.”  And he sticks his tongue out childishly at her.

Harrison nodded along.  There was something nice about this, just talking about their kids like ordinary normal people do.  But he can’t help but notice that hard swallow.  “Is it…. is it permanent?” he asked gently, trying not to pry even as the curiosity that burned inside him.
The question is followed by a subtle glance and she huff. Harrison’s complexion a reminder how she appeared a couple year’s now, was uneasy to look at him for to long. “Mmmm.” Her pink eye’s shift, wanting to trust but far to worried to let him to close. Made it hard to talk. “If I want, with Drago’s assistance..  This is how I was born though. It’s confusing.”
Harrison cocked his head.  “Well I’m certainly confused…. I thought….” he trailed off, trying to think of the most delicate way to phrase it.  “I thought you were like me.  Or the rest of us.  Blue,” he clarified, hoping not to offend.
Alixon scoffed, coming closer. “Hah! Yeah, until my DNA got back with resemblance of your kind I’ll never though I have anything connected to you, accept that.“ Sitting down beside Harrison she didn’t seemed offended, until, word’s cut with icy edges. Finding it disgusting how alike they COULD be. But quickly, not to get caught in a diving grudge she look over at him, all jokes and smiles. “Assumed it was from my centaur side!” Exhale dramatic. “Utter nonsense! My dream! broken!”

“I’m sure we could find a way to turn you back if you’d like,” Harrison replied, the corners of his lips turning up into a smirk.  “Or go even further with it.  You’d look quite fetching without all that hair,” he teased, running a hand over his own bald dome.

A exhale, pulling hand’s over her face in agony was Harrison’s reward for such pestering, that Alixon probably deserved for rallying his crude defense. She knew better! “That ego is making your usefulness blurry and kicking you off this bench all the more appealing…” She snigger and peer over, lowering arm. “Remind me why I should stay civil, smart mouth?” Quirk eyebrow.

“Because we’re family,” Harrison replied jovially, enjoying her discomfort at his playful teasing.  He swung an arm around her shoulders and pulled her in close for an awkward side hug.  What the hell; the worst she could do is kick his ass and she was threatening to do that already.  “Confusing, bizarre, and probably genetically linked family.  Welcome to the tribe.”

Sniggering stop abruptly, not beliving what just happend before Alixon looked at him again and shriek. Shooting Harrison eyes of daggers, daring such an act as hugging! “Uuurrrh, thaaaanks?” Twitch. “But I allready have a extraordinary amazing tribe to work on!” She grumble, trying to lean away. “Also, this is akward!! To not say uncomfortablew, your cologne is stinging my nostrills and eyes!” Alixon complained. May be Harrison smelled fine but she be caught dead before saying that. Deciding to give Harrison five second’s to rethink his preposterous mistake before getting punished.

Harrison laughed, leaning in to rest the side of his head on her shoulder.  Something about this was much funner than their usual antagonistic banter so he decided to keep playing it up.  “I’ll wear less next time, cuz,” he added with a giggle, batting his eyes sweetly at her just to see what she would do.

Palm’s up Alixon chuckled delighted over Harrison’s reaction, well, intill he uttered the obvious and she toke a look at herself in a mirroring effect, still grinning but with a hint of sadness. Shrug.  “Yeeeeeah, Way to put it delicate.” She huff and step back. “What you see isn’t nearly the change that barfed inside my head sense that doctors visit.” She adds anxious, recalling the frightening moment while keeping calm even breath’s. “…Had to plant a fucking iceland in my mind not to drown or loose myself to all information. Do you know how that feel’s? It’s like… MORE then my old memories before the accident it’s-” She bit her lip, stopping her babbling before saying to much. trust not on Harison’s side. Sigh. “The accident… I wanted to tell you about that before anything else.”
Harrison merely stared at her and blnked for several seconds that felt like an eternity.  None of that made a damn bit of sense as far as he was concerned.  And frankly he still wasn’t entirely sure this was *his* Alixon.  What if it was a dimensional double?  That would explain the fact that she hadn’t yelled or threatened him yet.  God, that was a thought.
“Ok,” he sighed, reaching up to rub the tension between his eyebrows.  “Ok, ok, ok.  Let’s sit down first.”  He sat down on the bench and looked at her expectantly, gesturing for her to join him.  “And you can very slowly explain to me what’s been happening.”
Harrison’s reaction mildly interrupt Alixon’s own mind entanglement and eyes grow confused, following the blue man who slump down on her old spot, the bench. Blinks, with knuckles to her hips. Well shit,he wasn’t being as useful as a sack of potatos! Sigh and roll her eyes, grinning grim.”Alriiiight…” Momentarilly looking off to the playing kids by the swings. “…..” Incapable of finding where to start properly in this whoile mess Al toke a step away from the whole subject. “…Any perticular reason you where so late here?”

“Devin woke up and had a bit of a meltdown,” Harrison sighed, not sure why she was changing the subject.  He followed her gaze to the kids on the swings.   “He’s almost two and I’m not looking forward to it.  At least he’s hesitant enough about flying now that he’s not hard to catch but the gods save this entire city if he figures out how to float more than about four feet off the ground next time he’s screaming because we told him no.”

He shifted slightly to face her.  “How are the triplets holding up?  It must be a lot for them to have a mom that suddenly looks different.”

She laughed dry. So that been it. “Meltdowns are harsh when babies have powers… Least he haven’t started ignore you right?” Alixon suggested like that would lift his spirit. The tripplet’s meltodwn’s made the loft into a battlefield until one day she got wounded and they consciously made a choice even at such a young age to behave when mom said no. Dad was a differnt story…  She hummed, feeling Harrison’s eyes on her. “Got worried they wouln’t recognize me, but instead they started to cry.” Swallows. “Though I was sick…” She smiled sad, choken up thinking about her bundles of chaose faces that day. “Toke a while until convicing them this is how I look now.”

Harrison nodded along.  There was something nice about this, just talking about their kids like ordinary normal people do.  But he can’t help but notice that hard swallow.  “Is it…. is it permanent?” he asked gently, trying not to pry even as the curiosity that burned inside him.

“Is it.... is it permanent?” he asked gently, trying not to pry even as the curiosity that burned inside him.

Trotting along in good speed Alixon arrivived to Longway Park about twenty minutes after hanging up on Harrison. Looking around she appeared to be first. Huff’s. Waitning… sucks. The park held one of the biggest playground’s in the city but stationing herself by the swings where they meet last time Al felt posetive he spot her. Nevertheless sent him a text. TXT: I’m Here :SEND That done she sunk down on a bench watching the families play. Was a very noisy surrounding, horrible even, But she wasn’t annoyed, nothing ticking in the back of her head. Smiling she brushed back some dark brown curles who escaped from the messy thick ponytail and glanced down on the strange hue of her palm. Wiggle finger’s in front of herself. Ok.. so it wasn’t strange she reminded herself. She been this brown color for most of her life, but as much as she was happy gaining everything she still missed the blue hue as well as the long ear’s… Shew lip. She was being greedy….

Harrison had been very nearly out the door when Devin had woken unexpectedly early from his nap.  Of course, trying to say goodbye to the toddler had been his mistake.  He tried explaining to his son that he was only going to be gone for a little while and that Minion would take care of him and ooooh maybe they could go downstairs and see Uncle Shelly and Mets?  But his son was having none of it.  He’d collapsed into a full meltdown complete with kicking and screaming “Daddy NOOOOOOO Daddy don’t gooooooooo!!!!”.  It only ended when Harrison had walked out the door, leaving the still screaming toddler to Minion’s care.  It made him feel like shit, but it had to be done.  Devin needed to learn that tantrums wouldn’t get him what he wanted.  His phone had pinged with her text before the elevator even got down to the first floor.  He’d simply responded [TXT MSG: omw], not wanting to irritate her with an explanation.

Which is why he was utterly puzzled when he got to the park and she wasn’t there.  He looked all around, but he couldn’t see the blue skinned woman anywhere.  Finally he tapped out [TXT MSG: I’m here where are you?] with a frown, hoping she hadn’t gotten mad and simply left.

Alixon had seen Harrison entering the playground, main amusement watching life slip by on that bench, you didn’t miss much. But then, to tip off her already strained patience Harrison’s gaze slipping past without recognizion and picked up his phone as if ignoring her. This cracked Al, who shoot up from her spot, ready to give him a piece of her mind, before realizing the obious. He didin’t recognize her… Only because of color?   Of course, under that short time she had already closed in on him, so might as well make use of the worked up temper,so grinning toothy she smack Harrison over the back. “Greetings slowepoke!! Toke you long enough.” She criticized.

Harrison nearly jumped out of his skin at that smack on the back and was just about to shout for Wayne, when he recognized exactly who was assaulting him.  Though recognized wasn’t quite the word.  His jaw dropped at the change in her skin color and features, noting the smaller more human shape of her ears with as much shock.

“You’re brown!” he blurted without thinking as he gaped at the sight of her.  “Oh, god, what happened?”
