im in my feelies but im so worried i will never write again LMAOOOO. and like, i kinda know why i’m feeling like that: my writing pace is so slow that it ends up creating a negative feedback loop for me bc i’m the only one looking at my writing that i then get into my own head about whether or not (insert idea here) is working. and also i know myself well enough to know that the only surefire way to break the negative feedback is to finish something, but to finish something means accepting that i take time, but then that feeds back into things…… idk. i just feel kinda sad ig and i have for a while now. πŸ˜” don’t perceive me ❌

#also on an emotional level im wondering if i feel this way bc i kinda feel like i haven’t… gotten closure on finishing the deku fic??????#if that makes sense????? it’s so silly bc what closure LMAOOO it’s a FICCCCCC#anyways#off to stare out the window like a sailor’s widow out to seaaa

the bears i’ve been posting are from a collector’s brand called charlie bearsβ€”UK based, created/designed by a woman named Charlotte (Charlie) Morris and her husband. i like that they look like a heirloom brand!! very classic. next year though will be their twentieth anniversary!!! the morrises seem pretty savvy, about like, milking their customer base (lmao) so i reckon we’ll end up seeing a STUNNER of a anniversary bear…… maybe several…………… i think i should start collecting, what’s the verdict???

woke up this morning blinking the sun outta my face and thought…. i need to start collecting these bears. i’ve found an aussie stockist that has Miss Chevious there but they also have these two dudes……. im so torn…………. the beige one is bigger than both the green and miss chevious AND he’s on sale, BUT he would cost heaps extra in shipping so that kinda negates it. πŸ₯Ί he’s 60cm tall!!!

4. what does it take for you to be proud of something you’ve written?

Honestly? It’s two things: first and foremost finishing it… and then someone being kind enough to say they spent time with it/liked it. πŸ₯Ή Being able to complete something does a lot of the heavy lifting though!!

17. how do you determine what mood each project has?

It depends what the original idea is about!!! They all generally come with their wanted moods in tow. The Big 3 fics were/are always about like, the optimism and hope of falling in love, for example, so I hope the mood I write them in fits that. πŸ₯Ή The ghost fic I’m writing for Halloween this year is much sadder, by contrast, so the mood we’re trying for is unsettling! The regency romance is (meant to be) sweet and a little funny… moods are just inherently built in!!

20. where do you begin a WIP? ex: a mood, a scene, a certain character dynamic, etc. does this differ per project?

I said to saint I try to establish mood/scene firstβ€”but if we’re taking like, at inception, I think it’s always a skeleton idea of, β€œI want (character) to do (thing) and fall in love along the way” lmao. Core idea first!!! Everything else builds on afterwards.
