“Hello new friend!”

The sudden greeting startled her to a hop.

Image

Blood freezing in her veins, she glanced at the voice to be greeted by Vivi’s bright smile.

“Ah, you’re...” she began, her voice trailing off as she gave a shy curtsy.

“Hiya...” she mumbled, giving a half-smile. She wasn’t annoyed or disinterested, just caught off guard.

❝ Well, I do like blowing bubbles! I can even make really big ones and bounce on them…even though they pop after a while. ❞  Manaphy laughed. He seemingly didn’t pick up on the somewhat awkward atmosphere, or he was choosing to ignore it.
It was hard to tell.
❝ They’re one of my talents! Hey…do you have a talent? ❞ He stared curiously. The seafarer always did like learning more about others, even if they were minor things.
❝ Or just, something you’re good at? ❞
Image

“Ah?”

She had a dumbfounded expression on her face; like a joy she couldn’t quite comprehend.

“I like to dance...” she whispered, bowing her head shyly. Piro was certainly becoming more confident, though, especially with Manaphy’s cheer. “Though... I suppose I gotta like it; else I would’n be going around performin’...”

The Meloetta’s gaze moved off to the side, eyeing the ocean waves as she held her chin in one of her hands. “Maybe I shouldn’t count that as a talent,” she finally moaned, trying to think of what other activities she partakes in.

“Oh!” she finally piped up, the lightbulb finally lightening up above her head. “People watching! I like to watch humans a lot...” she began rambling, a sudden sense of pride emanating from her. “They’re all so different from how I used to know them! It’s lots’a fun!”

“That’s a talent, right? Do you like people, too?

Maybe you’ve even talked to ‘em?! Can ya’ tell me about them? Can ya’?”

She hadn’t realized how quickly she was jumping around in the conversation, nor how many assumptions she was coming to; though it seemed like she came out of her shell, at least.

He laughed at the mass of bubbles floating around him, waving his antennae about blissfully. A voice caught his attention however, and he turned with a curious expression towards it.
Image
❝ Oh? Am I annoying you? ❞ He even made sure to stay at this empty beach so he wouldn’t annoy anyone with his bubbles, darn.
…Actually, now that he was paying closer attention, this pokemon looked familiar…strange.
❝ I can leave, if you want. ❞

“No, no...” she mumbled distantly, thoughts elsewhere.

Image

A bubble popped ahead of her; she bat her eyes. “Just curious, that’s all.”

An unfortunate silence settled in as she continued to stare, before she finally changed her posture from leaning curiously to now standing akimbo.

“Ah, uh... I mean...” she sputtered, trying to surmount her filler words. “Curious in those ‘mpressive bubbles...

“As in, I haven’t seen even a Popplio blow bubbles that big, that fast...!

“It’s like, it’s like, you’re a bubble machine,” she finally reiterated, bearing a smile of triumph. Despite this, her tone came across as though she had no idea where she was going with that thought— and she really didn’t.

A long stream of bubbles floated into the air…before all of them popped. The one responsible for them was sitting on the cool sand of a beach, blissfully unaware of what was going on around him as he blew more bubbles into the sky.
image
He continued to release more and more, with each of the bubbles’ sizes increasing. It seemed like he was trying to create the largest bubbles he could.
image

A bubble popping in front of her face took her aback. She hadn’t given her walk much thought; just wandering the coast with the company of only her thoughts.

A shake of the head, she saw the bubbly blue figure just a few meters away. With a strange sense of familiarity, she took a few steps forward, her light feet quietly echoing in the sand. Quiet, yet just audible enough.

Ah...?” she murmured, leaning forward. The bubbles took up so much space in the open air, she couldn’t help but take a closer look. “You’re like a bubble machine...”

“Ya’ miss me?”

<<Of course I did; why wouldn’t I miss one of my children?
It seems like almost a year since you slept; are you hungry?>>
Image

A year, huh?

“Yes, a bit, I s’ppose...” she mumbled, with a bow. “Do you have food? I could go for one of those... mama salads?”

Malasadas. She meant malasadas.

“It is?” Rosa giggled with her. She nods with her hand on her chin, Piro… Rosa will remember that name if they manage to see each other once more.
“Piro seems like a nice name, I would probably name them that if I caught a Pokemon.” It kinda sound like a nickname you would give to a Pokemon. Rosa thinks that she befriended a new Pokemon.
“At some point, yes. Yes we do.” She replied, remembering those times she spent with Reshiram after those years being in another region, bonding together, and battling together. Those were good times, “You’re a special girl!?” Boy, she was shock.
Image

Suh-pecial! Super special! I sure am!” the Meloetta responded, her thoughts sounding erratic, as though they bounced within her and Rosa’s minds. Piro giggled, twirling around as she revolved around the human.

Y’er interesting! You sure are!

Because you gave me cookies!”

Her reasoning skipped over the obvious, of Rosa’s possession of powerful legendaries, or her history, or her former title. Though ‘obvious’ is subjective, especially when Piro is added to the equation.

Oh, Darling… You fucking dumbass. A legendary doesn’t know this, SERIOUSLY? YOU’RE WASTING MY TIME HERE.
She slowly shook her large doggy head, grumbling- humorous this was! But this time she would not open her mouth to comment like a catty, nor will she deem her too sad or flawed for her time- despite the amount of surprise it had started, she was still interested. this was a legendary:
There were different ones. Unqiue. No need to bicker over the growing children, it was rude.
Also, this legend was getting cuter with all this questions…
Time for this dear darling herself to become a stereotypical wise old man-
 Curious now, aren’t you?:
Safe to say, yes. Further research and comfirmation says that Legends- especially like YOU were flowing. Perhaps, just as much as lesser. Maybe as much as Animals.
However, it is still a working topic. It has been so long ago that humans are still intensely researching on of more legends.
However, I can say for your other question is simple!:
A perfect life cycle of thriving creatures; with nothing exceptionally dangerous to cause a abrupt event.
Eat, breed, all of that. That has been going for a long time; enough for many Pokémon  to flow through.
And for your last… no. Not really, I suppose.
Image

“I needn’t know this information?” she reaffirmed. “Wonderful! I wasn’t paying attention to your whole monologue, anyway.”

Piro stared blankly, before sheepishly blinking, an air of mischievousness in her voice. “Just kiddin’!”

She already became comfortable, it seemed, yet returned to her expression of wonder with her akimbo pose.

“Y’er all knowledgeable and stuff about this sorta’ stuff; are you sure you aren’t a Legendary Pokémon like me?” she giggled, tilting her head to and fro.

Dancer on the Isle (starter for pirouxtta)

He couldn’t feel the strength of the grip because his claw was quite hard, but he did feel the energy behind the movement.
There are four of us,” Koko informed her of the guardians of the islands. “Tapu Bulu, Tapu Lele, Tapu Fini, and myself. We each protect one of the islands of Alola, and sometimes join together to face a united threat.”
“Oh?” He raised an eyebrow upon hearing that Fini of all guardians had allowed a stranger to stay with her. “Fini did that? How….unlike her. Perhaps I should go see her sometime… If she’s finally opening up to others…”
He laughed at her observation and offered her one of his “wings” to ride on. “They did name a certain kind of that drink after me, and yes, they do. Hop on, I can take us there. I’m sure the chefs wont mind me coming along with a guest.”

She nodded at his audible train of thought regarding Fini, and nodded once again as he provided her with more insight regarding the Tapus.

Image

She exhaled under her breath, surprised.

“I never thought of you, uh, Guardians to be the type to directly interact with the common folk...” she mused, contemplating of the Pokémon of mythology back in her home region.

Slowly climbing on top of his shell-like wings and taking an awkward seat, Piro managed a giggle. “I’m quite a popular one, where I come from,” she flaunted innocently, swinging a leg hung over the air. “Maybe some of those people there would recognize me?”

The Meloetta always took a liking towards being a star in the public eye; she wouldn’t call herself spoiled by it, though she had become quite conditioned to it.

Stretching with a purr, she looked to the side, to Tapu Koko’s face.

“You’re a lot cooler than I anticipated!”

Hey Piro, was there ever a time where it was really humid outside and ends up giving you an afro, how would you react?

“I, uh...

I don’t quite believe my hair to even be capable of that...”

She tapped at it, leading to it to shift with a ruffle.

“It’s more like a compromise made between silky hair and... a sheet music.”

“But! That’s a hypothetical situation, is it not?

I guess I’d just be embarrassed! I like my hair the way it is, it’s what really just... represents me! I can’t just let myself be seen with my hair out of its normal standards!”

Unova was not a place that Calum visited often. True, he had housing here. He technically had housing in a lot of regions, thanks to Cipher’s generosity. Still, something about the place was unnerving. Too many people. Too many eyes. True, none of them had quite the same look as you’d see in Orre. But he knew. Small time thieves, exhausted salarymen looking for easy pickings.
He had little trust for people. Especially so many people in one place.
Didn’t matter. He was here on a mission. Collecting a few more samples to become shadow pokemon, and seeing if he couldn’t improve his own team a little more.
A wingull, a Sealeo, and a Furfrou. Of them, Furfrou was the only one connected with any sort of class and elegance. That had to change. He was considering a nice Deerling, but there were plenty of pokemon in Unova. Surely, they’d find something they could live with.

For the mythical Pokémon, Unova was one of the two places she really had. One was a new home for her, and Unova was an ageless home for her. She’d memorized every nook, every cranny, every detail. She wasn’t infatuated with people or Pokémon like she was the environment, it was evident in how Piro interacted with others.

She wasn’t one to stray from greeting others, despite her status as being essentially a cryptid.

Weird boy,” the Meloetta immediately went on to communicate via telepathy. “Different clothes! Unusual style!

She still wasn’t very proficient in using that ability.

“….I wonder how my sister is doing…is she still mad at me?”

Well, she was right around the corner, quite close enough to hear the audible thoughts of her sister.

With a hitch of the breath, Piro ducked behind the rocky cliff of the rocky ramp. It was, fortunately for her, relatively easy to find cover with the way that the coast spiraled down to the entrance of the Ruins of Hope.

She couldn’t silence the hissing of her breath, nor the crumbling of pebbles and dust as she made her effort to disappear from sight, however. Worst of all, her thoughts were running wild now.

Truly, the guilt was gnawing at her.

It bit at her, lashed at her, and was constantly exhausting her. She couldn’t quite let it pass, yet the poor Meloetta just couldn’t face her demons and apologize.
