god it annoys me to no fucking end how many people hate on wyll for just being a fucking normal person and “too boring” but not on any of the other characters who can genuinely be assholes

let’s be honest, if wyll and astarion completely swapped stories/personalities people would still love and favor astarion and call him a sweet little cinnamon roll and would absolutely despise Wyll for being mean, which is something that is “sexy and cool” on someone like astarion (*cough* white and conventially attractive)

a fragmented thought: ed has agency, and thus its ultimately his fault that he pushed lucius overboard and had the crew marooned. ed will have to make his own amends and apologies for his actions and the harm he caused in trying to prioritize his sense of emotional and mental safety and protection over the lives of people he cares about and who care about him

however

so help me god izzy fucking hands is gonna face a reckoning for kicking ed in the metaphorical nuts and shifting him from "striding from a place of deep grief to one of healing and embracing a support system" to "place of renewed fear and paranoia".

because ed did NOT lash out because he was ghosted and abandoned. his response to that was grief and mourning and languishing. ed lashed out because he was threatened and then became paranoid and suspicious about the good will of others.

#FOR REAL#like I think izzy is an interesting character and I love con#but izzy is CONSTANTLY manipulating ed and i’m tired of people excusing how shitty he is because they like con!
