Schneider's statement on the situation actually made me feel a lot better
He confirmed the separation between Till's after parties and the rest of the band, so less worry about the involvement of them in unsavory stuff
He didn't mindlessly defend Till and deny all accusations. If he has, then he would have been complicit, likely along with the rest of the band, with excusing shitty behavior.
He discouraged victim blaming, which is very important for the fanbase to hear from a band member
Just generally gave the impression that this is something they are taking seriously. And Till's behavior is more shitty, inconsiderate, and sleazy as opposed to downright unforgivable.
I just want to believe that any shitty behaviors from Till and the rest of Rammstein weren’t so over the line they were unforgiveable. I want this to be a wake up call that causes Till and any others involved to clean up their act. I want to be able to engage wholeheartedly in parasocial affection for them again.
I don’t want to worry that everything is bad or worse than I fear, and that the rest of the band will rally around Till when he shouldn’t be defended. I don’t want to worry that Richard is down in the dirt with Till with the worst of it.
Of course it’s not my life, not my business, but... :(

The accusation makes me actually sick. Not because I don't think its possible, but because of the possibility of it being right. I know that we've all seen this before, but this one just hits different (or it's possible that I'm seeing something like this for the first time). This would be heart-shattering for me. I love Rammstein, all the band members and I've always hoped that while Till is a bit of a weirdo when it comes to sex, he wouldn't actually hurt anyone.
Same. If it makes you feel any better, my current hypothesis is that Till actually isn't responsible for spiking the drink, though he is responsible for being a coercive, mean asshole.
And yeah, as a rammstein fan this absolutely does suck. I was so hype to enjoy stuff from this tour, and now... :| At least I don't think the others are involved?

Be careful of Reddit, there's a lot of "fictions" from pressed groupies, sorry to say. Someone once accused Richard of r....g them. Didn't believe it and don't believe it today. There's a lot of testimonies proving otherwise and regarding Till, the timeline is off. He had no time to share a spiked drink to anyone, to wait for it happen and then try something. By that time he'd already be back on stage for 15 minutes. Entirely made up. The video from 2019 was done on purpose and on a timing, lasted like 2 minutes, just for a show.
It's 2023. The internet isn't just for porn anymore. People live their lives on it. They interact with their communities on it. They use it to spread the word. Her posting on reddit doesn't make what she said automatically less legitimate. Not to mention she said she contacted police and has connected her name and face with these accusations.
The timeline is not off, especially if, as I actually suspect, Till wasn't the one who spiked the drink. Note that she never claimed that he actually attempted to assaulted, only that he was mean and potentially coercive.

Hell, I think even in a relationship that isn't parasocial, it's important to take accusations seriously. You don't have to look far on the internet to see some horror story about a kid who was molested by a family member not being believed.
No one wants to believe that Till was rude and mean to a woman who refused to have sex with him, or that he spiked her drink. I'm not talking about this because I want to.

With claims like this, there is rarely evidence that is solid enough to prove anything for sure. This isn't a court of law. If, for example, lots of women are coming forward about experiences of sexual harassment from someone, it's unreasonable to act like we should ignore these rumors until it's caught on HD video with surround sound.
She's been updating on her Instagram, but I'm conflicted about giving it out and sending harassment or something her way ...but...

I actually get an impression, one that I can't back up with hard facts, that it is possible that Till gave her a spiked drink that he did not spike himself, or know was spiked. Considering his fall, I wonder if he consumed it himself unknowingly.
I saw a comment from some months ago from someone who suspected that someone in Till's social circle was spiking drinks from their after party experience.
In either case, his behavior was still shitty and coercive

I don't know if anything happened. I wasn't there. But it's disgusting to see fans, especially women, treating alleged victims of sexual assault the way police and judges treat them. "Why didn't you do this? Why didn't you do that? You're just a liar and a lush and a druggie who went too far and is now looking for attention."
As if they don't know, deep down, why this person might not've been the Perfect Victim.

In regards to accusations about Till Lindemann, and frankly any other band member...
Every day, someone finds out their trusted mentor, doting family member, longtime friend, or beloved partner is a sexual predator. If they're unlucky, it's because they are the victim.
Most people here have only heard about Till second-hand. Others may have just had a couple of nice interactions with him. That does not mean you know what goes on behind closed doors. That doesn't mean you know him as a person.
And even if you do know him as a person, you don't know every part of him. People who do bad things often have close friends who refuse to believe the truth even in the face of undeniable evidence.
When it comes to celebrities, it's better to accept that you might find out something deeply fucked up about them that changes your entire perspective at some point than to refuse to acknowledge the possibility of wrongdoing.
