i’m going to make myself clear : if you support transphobia in ANY way — ESPECIALLY towards a minor , then choke . rot. if you feed this dumb ass confession blog attention and if you even BREATHE it’s way in some enabling manner then you are the worst human being to ever walk the earth. y’all are so quick to defend pedophiles and so many fucked up adults on this site but GOD FORBID. GOD FORBID A MINOR IS ATTACKED LOL you’re suddenly blind !!!!! rocky literally did NOTHING to deserve such a random ass attack.

you can reblog this bc it’s clear y’all also support n*zis and n*zi rp blogs over minors too . a minor literally has to wait until they’re 18 to be noticed on this site and i see every single adult out here ignoring them bc they can’t smut. it’s different if you don’t want them following you for your own comfort — but im talking abt adults who LITERALLY wait until a mun is 18 to jump their muse’s bones.

“Are they following me because they’re interested in rping or do they just need the follow-back follower count?”

I’ve been seeing this a lot lately and I understand if people get miffed about it. I would be too. And I think it’s a good call to try and interact with folks by calling attention to it.

let it be known though

if I follow you but we never rp, it’s not that i’m using you to get my follower count up.

I’m just rlly bad at making the first move.

Follower count doesn’t mean squat to me since I know that it usually ends up being like, dead blogs I’ll never see again. So yeah.

This is a post where I’m encouraging you, the reader, to make the first move. Just try and talk to the people you follow, even if you don’t think they’d be interested in rping ( provided you follow their rules on contact, mutuals, ect ). Maybe they wanna rp? Maybe they don’t. Your chances can only increase if you come with an idea to bring to the table, so just try it!

Maybe a friendship will happen, maybe it won’t. But at the VERY LEAST you can say you tried.

He huffs a little. “Believe me, if it were up to me I would have done that a long time ago. But it turned out being more of a hassle taking it out than just leaving it.” Nevermind his own reservations about it. But, looking back on it now, maybe he should have.
At Spirit’s second question, Stein swallows a little. “Why would you want to stay with me? You already have Maka, and you’ve never said anything about wanting more children. It’d be less of a burden on you if you didn’t stay.”

“In my defense, you put a freaking screw in your head, so it’s not that much of a stretch            to think you, like, tied your own tubes, or took out your ovaries and pickled them so you            could put them on a shelf somewhere.”

His frown grows deeper, but it’s become one of concern.

“Because I care about you? What kind of person would I be if I didn’t stick by your side?            I don’t know if you know this, but this isn’t my first rodeo with unplanned pregnancy.            Besides, do I look like a guy who would turn down a baby?”

Stein snorts, but it’s mostly good natured. “Maybe if I had, we wouldn’t be in this mess.” But, now isn’t the time for maybes or what ifs. Now is the time for action, and for once in his life... Stein isn’t entirely sure what he wants to do.

“You caring about me was the first mistake,” Stein says matter-of-factly. “But -- let’s face it, Spirit. We’re both in our thirties. Do you really want to be stuck with a kid in your fifties? We’re not even married, and...”

And here he hesitates, before sighing. “And I’m scared. Up until recently, I was convinced I couldn’t love anything other than my work.”

Aurora wiggles a little in her father’s grip excitedly. “Nope, nope, nope! Dinos are cool!”
Stein carefully separates the pasta from the water, making sure that none of it gets dumped down the sink like last time. “I suppose she gets that from me, after all. She doesn’t scare easily.”

He laughs a little, and makes sure to keep a good grip on her while she wiggles so he doesn’t accidentally drop his child onto the tile floor. That would not be a good thing.

“You’re so brave! I’m not a big fan of scaly things.”

Good thing she hadn’t taken after Spirit too much. He has to admit he’s a little bit of a scaredy cat.

“Yes! I’m the bravest!” Aurora puffs her chest out quite proudly as Stein finishes dinner.

“Well, I do hope you’re still hungry. Dinner’s ready,” he says, and Aurora’s eyes widen and sparkle. “Spirit, can you put her in her chair?”

He has to admit, if himself from two years ago could see the scene in front of him -- him, Franken Stein, actually acting domestic with Spirit Albarn and their daughter -- he might’ve been a little more at ease when he found himself staring at a positive pregnancy test.

He wouldn’t trade this for the world.

Without even thinking about it, Stein leans heavily on Spirit’s side. Why would he think about it? Spirit’s his partner, in more ways than one. Yes, he could resonate his soul with anyone, but…
Spirit’s the only person he really wants to resonate with.
And no, of course Stein doesn’t realize how out of touch he is with his emotions. A man like him, who’d thought up until very recently that he wasn’t even capable of love or affection, understanding his own emotions? Laughable.
“I’m – I’m sure they had their reasons,” Stein finally says. “After all, I’ve been like… this ever since I was just a kid. In Kindergarten I always thought it’d be more fun to take people apart than make friends with them.” Morbid and slightly gruesome, yes, but when isn’t he?
“Maybe – maybe this is what I deserve.”

He blinks when Stein leans on him, and he sighs, letting Stein use him as a support. He resonates with him so easily, and tries to push down his own, furious feelings about the revelations he’s finding.

He frowns and turns to look at Stein, and his hand comes up, making the doctor look back.

“Hey. That’s bullshit. Whatever reasons they had are bullshit. Parents are supposed to            love unconditionally. You were a weird goddamn kid, Stein, I remember, but that didn’t            make you any less deserving of a caring family. They’re to blame, not you.”

He feels a hand under his chin, and Stein almost flinches, before he remembers who it is with him right now. His yellow-green eyes, dull and cloudy with alcohol and all the pain he’s been pushing down, roll up to look at Spirit. It takes a moment for his words to register, but when they do...

Stein’s quiet for a moment. “...I’m... afraid,” he finally says. “So afraid. Afraid that -- that not feeling love is just something that runs in the family. My mother never told me she loved me. My father never told me he loved me. I don’t think I ever heard them tell each other they loved one another.”

He swallows. “I thought that was normal. How family was supposed to be.”

“Sit down first, at least, then,” Stein says, only half-joking. “Is it really that big of a surprise? We’re both healthy men, Spirit. Well… relatively, anyway.” This is why I was afraid to tell you goes unsaid in the back of his mind.
“I understand if you’re not interested in… continuing what we have,” he continues, still speaking in that detached clinical way he’s used to. “In light of this. It’s fine.”

          “Yeah. Okay. Sitting down.”

He manages to drag over a chair and just collapse into it before his knees give out. He still leans his elbows on the cot.

“I mean, it kind of is a surprise? I thought you would’ve, like, taken out your uterus            or something.”

He blinks, and frowns, his brow furrowing.

“What do you mean by that? You think I don’t want to stay with you?”

He huffs a little. “Believe me, if it were up to me I would have done that a long time ago. But it turned out being more of a hassle taking it out than just leaving it.” Nevermind his own reservations about it. But, looking back on it now, maybe he should have.

“What’s Grey’s Ana– Ana– namony?” Aurora finally manages to ask. Stein gives another little chuckle.
“Nothing you need to worry about, sweetheart.” Stein looks over his shoulder and grins at Spirit. “I was kidding, anyway. Though, you know, Marie was telling me just the other day how enamored Lilliana was with Walking with Dinosaurs and that might be a little more of her speed.” Lilliana is Marie and Azusa’s oldest, a few months younger than Aurora. They’ve had a few playdates.
Upon hearing the word “dinosaurs”, Aurora’s eyes widen and she looks up at Spirit. “Papa! Dinosaurs!” She repeats excitedly.

          “It’s a grown up show…”

Though Stein is the type to watch it as a child.

He walks a little closer to watch Stein at the stove, and tilts his head.

“Isn’t that the show from the 90s with the terrifying CGI?”

He looks back at Aurora and smiles.

“But I bet it wouldn’t scare you, would it, sugarplum? You sure do love your dinos.”

Aurora wiggles a little in her father’s grip excitedly. “Nope, nope, nope! Dinos are cool!”

Stein’s eyes widen like Spirit’s just told him the secrets of the universe. His wavelength shakes a little, but still reaches out to Spirit, craving that comfort he doesn’t know he needed more than ever. Because, honestly, the comfort he’s getting right now is the only kind he’ll ever get from anyone.
“I – I didn’t… didn’t know that,” he finally manages to say. “How – how can it hurt so bad if they – they don’t touch you?”
His stomach turns, and he feels sick. So very sick.

His soul accepts Stein’s wavelength readily, and tries to steady him a little more. He squeezes his hand a little bit, those waves of comfort and understanding continuing to curl around the meister’s soul.

He supposes it’s not all that surprising when Stein is so abysmally out of touch with his and everyone else’s emotions. He doesn’t realize how much it’s hurt him. How much it’s made him into this.

“Because they made you feel…unwanted, I guess. I don’t know, I’m not exactly an            expert on emotional neglect. But – not touching you at all? Not even for a hug?            That’s messed up, Stein. Not calling you by the right name is messed up.”

Without even thinking about it, Stein leans heavily on Spirit’s side. Why would he think about it? Spirit’s his partner, in more ways than one. Yes, he could resonate his soul with anyone, but...

Stein sighs yet again. He has the feeling he’s going to be doing a lot of that. “You’re shouting,” he says when Spirit gets closer, Stein folds his arms over his chest and looks away for a moment.
“I’m pregnant, a little anemic and a little dehydrated from vomiting. I’ll be fine, I just need more fluids and some iron.” Stein’s voice is softer than when he first said it. “Honestly, Spirit, sit down. Now you look like you’re going to pass out.”

Spirit’s eyes are the size of dinner plates as he stares at Stein. He must’ve heard him wrong. He must’ve said something completely different. Definitely.

Except he says it again.

Oh, Death help him.

“You’re right. I am gonna pass out.”

“Sit down first, at least, then,” Stein says, only half-joking. “Is it really that big of a surprise? We’re both healthy men, Spirit. Well... relatively, anyway.” This is why I was afraid to tell you goes unsaid in the back of his mind.

Stein’s lips curl into a sly smile. “Now, when have I ever talked trash about you? At least, behind your back, that is.” He turns his back on Spirit and Aurora for just a moment to see if the pasta is ready. He’s a better cook than he was a few years ago, that’s for sure, but on the nights when he’s not feeling up to doing anything “elaborate”, pasta works fine.
Aurora, on the other hand, looks absolutely delighted when her father praises her. “Uh-huh! I’m the smartest!”
“I was thinking Grey’s Anatomy might be a good third birthday present,” Stein jokes from the stove.

He half glares at him over his biscuit.

“That’s right, you’re fine with talking trash about me right in front of me.”

He huffs and eats the rest of his pre dinner treat. He’s glad Stein’s gotten better at cooking, because honestly the burnt messes he churned out years ago could barely be called food. Now Spirit doesn’t have to worry about making all the food or risk being poisoned.

He looks back at Aurora and smiles wide, then shoots a glare at Stein.

“We’re not getting her Grey’s Anatomy. The closest she’s getting is the Operation           board game.”

“What’s Grey’s Ana-- Ana-- namony?” Aurora finally manages to ask. Stein gives another little chuckle.

Stein has to stifle another bitter laugh. “But, y’know – bad parents, they – they hit their kids, right? They beat them up. My parents never – they didn’t – they never hit me.”
But they did turn their backs on you when you needed them, a small voice says in the back of his mind. And where have they been now?
“I mean. Dad hasn’t talked to me since the divorce. How can – how can he do anything bad if he can’t even talk to me?” He swallows heavily. “They – never put a hand to me. I thought – I thought that’s what bad parents did.”

There’s a sick, sinking feeling in his gut as he listens to Stein. He holds his hand a little bit tighter, tries to soothe his soul a little more. He didn’t know – couldn’t have known what Stein’s home life had been like, he’d never shared anything about his family. He’s probably only sharing now because he’s drunk.

“Stein, that’s…bad parents aren’t just…they still hurt you. Your mom’s hurting you            right now.”

He’s struggling to find the words to explain, because if Stein can’t already see it for himself, he doesn’t know how to make him.

“There’s a lot of different types of bad parents, you know? It’s not just, with hitting.”

Stein’s eyes widen like Spirit’s just told him the secrets of the universe. His wavelength shakes a little, but still reaches out to Spirit, craving that comfort he doesn’t know he needed more than ever. Stein’s eyes are closed, so he doesn’t even see Spirit when he runs in, but he knows the other man must be worried. Even before he hears him smack into the wall, Stein knows that his partner has a tendency to worry. He always has, and probably always will.
That really doesn’t make what he has to say any easier.
“Spirit, please, calm down,” Stein says, finally opening his eyes and looking in Spirit’s direction. “Let’s not have you stuck in here too, okay? I’m fine.”
He sighs heavily.
“I’m fine. I’m just… a little bit pregnant, that’s all.”

He pushes himself off the wall and back into a standing position, and the panic is very evident on his face, because of course he’s panicking. It’s not every day that Stein, the man that seems so utterly invincible, faints.

“I’m calm! I’m perfectly calm! Can you not see how calm I am!”

He doesn’t realize he’s shouting.

He moves closer to the cot where Stein lays, and tries to look a little less like he’s about to start hyperventilating. It helps that Stein doesn’t look at that bad, he’s not pale ( well, no paler than normal ) and he’s coherent.

Then he blinks.

          “You’re…a little what now?”

Stein sighs yet again. He has the feeling he’s going to be doing a lot of that. “You’re shouting,” he says when Spirit gets closer, Stein folds his arms over his chest and looks away for a moment.

Stein smiles a little at that. “Hey, I’m just helping her practice, that’s all. She’ll improve in both languages that way.” His eyes roll towards their daughter. “Aurora, tell Papa what you did the other day. At the store.”
She chews thoughtfully on her biscuit for a second, and then breaks into a beaming smile. “I read the sign!” She exclaims excitedly. “Said ‘Wal-Mart’!”
Appearance-wise, she’s the carbon copy of Spirit (and Stein can’t say he’s upset about that), but intelligence wise, she’s got the best of both worlds. Stein grabs a larger biscuit and hands it to Spirit.
“Don’t spoil your appetite, either,” he teases lightly.

“Hmmmm I guess that’s true. But I’m still worried you’re taking trash about me behind           my back with her.”

He huffs a little, and looks back at Aurora, getting his own face splitting smile.

“Really! Wow, you’re so smart, Aurora. Bet you’re the smartest two year old in the           whole world.”

She really was a fast learner, just as intelligent as her doctor father. He has a feeling she’ll be reading books in no time. He takes the biscuit Stein hands him and sticks half of it in his mouth.

          “I won’f.”

Stein’s lips curl into a sly smile. “Now, when have I ever talked trash about you?
