久方ぶりに描いたけどやっぱりグランちゃんのデザイン完っ璧だなあとしみじみ思う

Not long ago, I watched a video of a French youtuber who was making a tier list of the best animes. There was a moment he said "I don't watch Inazuma 11. I'm not a kid anymore, you know?", something like that. It pissed me off so much that I stopped following the channel. Since when a kid anime talks about depression, death and such? 💀

I mean he was right, Inazuma IS a kid's anime, a Japanese kid's anime which are treated like human beings and not idiots, so the concepts of death, depression and the likes aren't taboos. What he ISN'T right about is not watching an anime just bc it's directed at kids? A lot of kids shows rock! I hate ppl who think like that 🙄

Yeah, he's right. But the way he phrased it kind of hurt me. Talking with experience because many people judged me for that T.T I also struggle with people who think like that. Let us enjoy our sakka anime...

My favourite thing about the new trailer is seeing old fans to whom I talked to like 5 or 6 years ago reenter tumblr as if we all collectively heard a call to rise from our graves, dust off our good ol’ tumblrs and scream about the new trailer.

I'm posting today to tell you your writing is worth it, even in those moments when you're doubting your story, your ability to tell the story. You shouldn't judge a story half-told and/or in its rawest forms, while strands of ideas are still tangled up in your mind, you must allow the words, those worlds, those weeds to flower before you hack and cut away at them. When you're in the messy thicket of your first drafts, your writing is still worth it.
