People are so pressed over this. “He clearly meant people in general”. Well, guess what, Bethany? It doesn’t matter. He’s talking about love not being exclusive to a straight couple, this is important in so many ways and to many of ways. If you don’t think he’s including them on the “we, as people” then that’s up to you and your interpretation. But the thing is: the homophobics and heteronormatives lost this one and they can’t accept it.
