Your Queen’s 2018 writer suggestions (Marvel)
this is my compilation of the best writers I have found this year. This is to congratulated them and signal boost them, because they truly deserve greatness and more recognition for the great work they’ve put on this site. They are incredibly creative, shocking, and immersive writers. A completely Loki-less list, because I feel I should signal boost those who write other characters than who I write. All these writers have written more than three beautiful pieces; this is just me giving you a taste of some of their bests, according to me. Enjoy!
@caplansteverogers calls herself the queen of mob AU’s and that is the truest thing of my 2017. Consistent and clear writer, with the capability of ripping your heart out and making it whole all in her expert writing skills. Queen of plot twists and cliffhangers, I present three of the best works according to me:
This Could be Heartbreak: a truly captivating story of Mob!Bucky which will immerse you in Caplan’s amazing skills and give you a taste of her incredibly envious creativity.
Sultry Weathers: utterly her best, hands down. (Again, my opinion). Immerse yourself within the world of mobster Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. I feel like this piece of art needs so much more, if not all, the recognition.
Wrecking Ball: some really hot and sexy, steamy Cap smut. I love the way she captures Steve in all his different angles. So here is the best Captain America smut out there.
@hellomissmabel: welcome to a world of beautifully crafted writing. Annie immerses you into colorful, descriptive, and heart-wrenching writing. She is the queen of marvel, in my opinion, and delivers impressive and mouth watering pieces. Here are three that have marked me in 2017:
Hello Future Husband: if you are looking for a plus size!reader and Bucky goodness, I suggest you read this. I have read a lot of Bucky fics in my life, and yet, I keep coming back to this one.
No One Does it Better: honestly the best sequel to this. She completely and utterly catches the personality of both Bucky and Steve. Amazing writing as always; story encrusted within the chapter, characterization perfectly exhibited. I am in love.
Lay Your Shield Down My Love |part one| part two|: A beautiful series with Steve x reader. I always had a kink for Cappy and let me tell you, Annie has delivered for me. I love the way Steve is characterized in this; beautifully and to the point. Congratulations. A must.
@papi-chulo-bucky: my first tumblr crush and my all time favorite blogger. The URL explains it, but Del is the master if not the queeeeen of Bucky. I am always so enamored and impressed by her work. A world of Bucky fun and smut. I present to you, a Bucky-only trio of goodness:
Delta: A very NSFW, but a very well written and smoldering piece of art. I love the way Del captures Bucky: utterly and totally brooding and conflicted. This A/B/O story has fucked me up in the best of ways. Don’t forget to read the sequel here.
Nicknames: some good old Bucky smut that still has me shivering and shuddering every time I read it. I love Bucky in this. I suggest, if you want some really well written and wetting fanfic, read this.
Pursuit of Happiness: a different turn on Bucky, but Del remains professional in her way of picturing him. He is very vivid and illustrated, as if he’s been painted on a canvas. I absolutely adore this and I really suggest you read.
@anaboo96: says writing is her thing, well I think writing is absolutely her thing. This girl can write a damn good story. Insipirational writing skills. Always in contact with her followers. Has an amazing sense of the character she writes, and stays faithful to them. Beautifully crafts her characters along with the Marvel ones. If you want a really good mix of Marvel characters, Ana’s your girl.
Sweet Talker: This Sam Wilson one shot has got me shook. I don’t normally read Sam Wilson, but when I came across this, I knew this was a masterpiece. She accurately represents him; cunning and seductive, like a snake almost. I absolutely love it.
A Halloween Birthday: this is the most accurate and amazing multi-character fic. I love how Ana really mixes the personalities of Natasha, Sam, Steve, and Bucky. A very quirky and amazing light story, which immerses you in how life would be with those foolish, goofy people.
Think Like A Man: Again, Ana’s got Sam down to the detail. Sam deserves so much recognition, and she has given it to him. She does him justice in this beautiful, two-part series. It is just a shame that it is incomplete, because I know she’d do a hell of a wonderful job continuing it.
