tell me why I just bought a pattern that only had measurements available after purchase but it goes up to a XXXL so I thought it would be fine. Only to discover the XXXL waist measurement is 33 inches

I’m foaming at the mouth I’m so mad LMAO

anyway luckily I can extend the pattern myself and reviews on the etsy purchase are public so I plan to warn ppl (politely) about the sizing & message the seller recommending she make the measurements available before purchase bc jeez

for the record my waist is 39” and I’m pretty reliably a true size US 14, which is definitely not XXL, much less 6 inches larger

Blocking this doily was an experience! It took a little over three hours and a bit of my sanity. I’ve told myself I’ll never do this again, but I feel as if that might be a lie..

Photos of the doily are of it while being blocked. I totally forgot to get any pics after I took all the pins out. The finished size was 51 inches in diameter.

every color change weakens my fragile grip on reality, but at least my mermaid is finally whole!
