Liana Angeli had the pleasure of meeting Nick Fury when she was just fourteen. Discovering a teenager with the ability to feel people's emotions and physically heal them was an incredible feat. When she did so in the park, well, it freaked out some parents to say the least. Her group home had taken a little field trip, and once the adults found out about Liana's.. abilities, well, they were quick to give her to SHIELD.

Nowadays, Liana spent her time with her friend, Nat, learning combat, going on missions, and healing her and her other friend, Clint, when needed. She enjoyed being an agent, especially because she didn't have to be a spectacle.

"Agent Angeli,"

Liana looked up from her desk. Today she was assigned desk work, her absolute faaavorite. Not. There stood Nick Fury, but he actually looked slightly concerned. Nick never had that look in his eyes, never.

"Fury, what do I owe this visit?" Liana asked, turning around completely in her swivel chair. "You got a case for me?"

The director looked nervous. Too nervous. "There's.. been a situation. I'd like you to come with me so I can explain."

Liana stood up from her desk, pushing in her chair, and walking swiftly behind Fury. She wasn't going to lie, she was really nervous. Talking privately? A situation? What was going on?

synopsis: you’re jackson’s very lovely performer, every wednesday, friday, and sunday nights performing at the local bar for the whole town. ellie is, as always, enamored with you.

“hey, we got ‘bout five minutes till we go on,” your bandmate, claire, said as she stuck her head in the bathroom you resided in. you were adjusting your outfit and hair, making sure you looked perfect.

you hummed for a second, “alright, i think i’m ready.”

“and you look amazing as always,” claire smiled, leading you to the rest of the band.

over the years, tommy helped you gather instruments and other useful things such as your microphone to help you perform. you really owed him.

you grabbed your mic and as you all walked out onto the small, makeshift stage, everyone cheered. you hooked your microphone up to the cord.

“hey, ya’ll!” you say cheerfully into the mic. “how’re we feelin’ tonight?”

applause and whistles followed, and you smiled. “are you ready to hear some music?” again, more applause.

you heard you drummer start counting in as the band began to play. everyone in the crowed started to move, some dancing, some just swaying to the beat while watching you.

you quickly found those perfect eyes staring at you from the bar. that’s where ellie sat, watching you with a smile on her face. you always caught her eye. sometimes you’d talk after your set. she always complimented you. you complimented her. there was a mutual pinning between you both.

footsteps rushed upstairs, gunfire right next to your ear as the clicker on you fell limp to the floor.

“holy shit,” ellie commented, seeing the blood on your hip. “holy shit!”

the calmness on your face made her panic. why the fuck weren’t you freaking out? you were surely going to die!

“ellie, don’t freak out,” you say slowly. she walked up to you and pulled your pants’ waistline down to see the nasty bite.

sixth row, third seat from the left. that’s where you sat in your sophomore psychology class. it was boring as hell. all the teacher did was ramble on about shit. did you know the different types of conditionings? nope. or maybe about the parts of the brain? absolutely not.

the only thing you seemed to learn was ever detail of the pretty girl in the fourth row, fourth seat from the left.

she had pretty, auburn hair. had it put back in a little bun. she had a large tattoo on her arm, it had a cute moth on it. she didn’t talk much, only when she absolutely knew the answers. her friend sat to her right, and they loved to whisper and talk.

you’d learned this girl’s name is ellie from the teacher calling on her. oh, ellie. what a pretty name.

if you had more confidence, maybe, just maybe you’d try and catch her after class. but to no avail. she was so pretty it intimidated you. she looked hardcore, too.

cole pushed himself up from the floor and walked over to where you were on the chair, just in frame. he sat on the arm and slung his body over yours. “let’s see, got any good ones?”

“favorite scene to shoot?” rocky asked, squinting his eyes to see.

“guys we can’t spoil the movie!” you laughed along with the others. “but let me just say, any scene with these two is the best.”

The world seemed to spin as you crashed down on Kate’s bed. Your muscles ached, your head was pounding, you couldn’t seem to catch your breath. All day, you’d been working. Sparring with Steve, doing paperwork for Bruce, and just recovering from a long mission. All you wanted was an hour for yourself, some time to watch YouTube or read a book, but the second you’d sit down, more work would be thrown on you.

It seemed to be the same for your teammates as well. Kate’s face was a soft pink, sweat rolling down the sides of her face. She’d clearly come back from training with Bucky. Peter was rubbing his arms and wrists. The marks from his web shooters left purple marks on his wrists. His arms must’ve hurt from swinging around for so long. Tony had kept him on patrol for hours daily this week. Then, there was Shaun, who looked as if his legs were made of jelly. All week, Shaun had been practicing with his ten rings. He was already good at hand to hand combat, but training with an accessory was hard, especially when he was being thrown on the field with little to no preparation or training to work with a team. Finally, Yelena and Wanda, who’s mental health was taking a larger toll rather than physical. They took the fall for everything, and team training and bonding was all on them.
