Andvsj first of all I'm proud of you for not letting anything get you down, you're doing great<3 and hey even if you feel down from time to time, that's completely normal. Just know those feelings of helplessness are temporary and they don't define you. We all feel a little down when our circumstances get a bit overwhelming❤️ whatever it is remember to take care and appreciate yourself, no use in punishing yourself by neglecting your fundamental needs for anything in this world. We only really have ourselves in the end so we can't afford to be our own enemies. Even if self-care is easy to forget sometimes, it's important remember when to rest, eat, hydrate, communicate and have fun. But you'll get there, one step at a time and I'm here to remind and cheer you on<3

And yeah I'm trying to overcome my own struggles with self-care, been getting better at hygiene<3 Recently struggled with an oral infection (likely caused by stress) but I'm slowly recovering and now eating has become somewhat easier!! The antibiotic messed me up at first because the gp forgot to tell me it's taken by weight and my underweight body couldn't handle it so I've been nauseous until I figured i should only take half a pill.. Certainly I'm in a much better place mentally than when I was in highschool tho✋ but med school is fun!! I absolutely love embryology and the psychology recaher is so cool always asking for my perspective which I vibe with because I do have plenty of strong opinions to share<3

I was a bit insecure at first tbh because the nursing teacher talked about the importance of empathy in this field and heh, I got a few issues with empathy,, It's hard to put myself in the skin of a person whose situation I was never in but I try my best. I like to think I'm not doing anything out of obligation but because I get a very nice warm feeling when people show gratitude when I help them and that's enough for me<3 I worry about being a little too cold blooded sometimes but my teacher reassured it's a good trait to have because I'm physically incapable of panicking in an emergency LMAO figured I would try my hand on an ambulance so people won't think I'm some mean monster when I don't react emotionally to things and just doing my job as I should. Goodbye masking, hello being my nd self💅
