What have we heard about him— other than the fact that he played an integral role in saving the kingdom, defeating the Mouse King, and helping Clara and The Nutcracker fall in love?
What do we know about his life What do we know about his life after the tale? Of his dangerous journey to the Fifth Realm— the journey where he runs into trouble and is not only protected, but is forcibly accompanied by a dutiful toy soldier: one who is kind, brave, and a tad too handsome for his own good?

We haven’t heard much about the Sugar Plum Fairy’s tale post-‘The Nutcracker’ at all.
so that’s why we’re going to change that.

fictional character discourse would be more fun if we all internalized the fact that characters are narrative tools, not people. once we have that basic fact down, we can start talking about what story the author is trying to tell using these characters, whether they’re successful, whether the story itself is successful and by what means we are measuring success—which are all really fun and interesting things to discuss! but we simply cannot get to that point unless we first accept that fictional characters simply do not have thoughts, feelings, opinions, or any agency on their own. a fictional character has more in common with the fictional chair theyre sitting on than with a real person

Haha yessss I LOVE merukomu!!! What you see on my account is actually an erotica writing & art game I joined on the merukomu server! In which we were blindly put in a group with 2 other writers and had to write either the beginning, middle, or end of a fic without knowing the author or the plot or anything. It was really fun!! One day I’ll write my own full length merukomu fic because I love them so much!
