The Lost Boy and Lost Girl found home and more family then either has ever known. Now they have a beautiful daughter whom will never feel lost.
This show, Emma Swan and Killian Jones will always hold a special part of my heart because they changed my life in ways I cannot even begin to explain. Thank you for an incredible journey Oncers/CSers! I’ve loved my fandom experience, everything this show taught and brought me, and all the wonderful people I met along the way :)
There’s 3 things I’ll always take away from this show:
1. People are gonna tell you who you are your whole life. You just gotta punch back and say, "No, this is who I am"
Be proud of all the nuances of your identity and never let society dictate who you should be. Do what you love, and believe me, you’ll never feel more happy and free.
2. I’m gonna choose to see the best in you.
Life’s too short for negativity and grudges. So many people are hurting and they take it out on others but sometimes all it takes is one person to show them kindness for them to turn their life around.
3. Believing in even the possibility of a happy ending is a very powerful thing.
Sometimes things can feel like they’re always on a downward spiral and there’s no chance that things will get better - but they will. You have to believe and hope that your happy ending (whatever it may be) will happen. It’s just waiting for you to be in the right time, right place and right state of mind.

The Art of Remembering (13/?)
Summary: Killian hasn’t seen Emma in months, not since she ran off in the middle of the night. But when he receives a call from the hospital informing him that she’s been in an accident he rushes to be by her side. Nervous and anxious to see her again he’s not sure what to expect—but he definitely doesn’t anticipate that upon waking she would have no idea who he is. Modern au

a/n: I am so sorry this took soooo long. Life was getting the best of me for a little bit there. But I’m happy to be back sharing this story with you, I love whats coming up in the next few chapters. Thank you for your support and love for this story! I will do my best to make sure the next update doesn’t take nearly as long.
The ceiling fan above him whirls around and around for what feels like hours, yet still Killian stares up at it as if somewhere in its spinning panels are the keys to unraveling the feelings stirring inside him.
Sleep, it would seem, is intent on avoiding him and it’s been hours since his eyes adjusted to the darkness. But he doesn’t think he’ll get any sleep this night, not with the way he can’t stop hearing Emma’s voice in his head.
You were wrong when you said I didn’t love you.
He hears those words over and over again like the panels of the fan rotating around and around, never-ending.
You were wrong.
He was wrong.
When you said I didn’t love you.
She loves him.
Bloody hell, she loves him?
Puffing out a heavy breath, Killian drags a hand down his face and rubs at the scruff on his jaw. It’s hard to stop his heart from racing, speeding like an excited humming bird in his chest. It’s a feeling he can’t deny as something very close to joy.
She all but said she loves him.
People are gonna tell you who you are your whole life. You just gotta punch back and say, “No, this is who I am”. You want people to look at you differently? Make them! You want to change things, you’re gonna have to go out there and change them yourself, because there are no fairy godmothers in this world.

Given The Choice (17/?)
… in which Emma and Killian finally talk.
Post-Neverland AU where Pan did not escape Pandora’s Box and Emma tries to come to grips with her strange new life featuring pirates, parents, and flying monkeys. Catch up here, or on ao3!
Emma is still shivering as she follows her parents up the path to Granny’s. It’s cold, the icy wind ripping through the snow’s lazy dance downwards, chasing the flakes through the air. They twirl in the corner beside the diner where the wind breaks, around and around like a whimsical tornado.
Granny’s has never been more welcoming, toasty warm and bright and full of familiar faces.
Henry comes running, throwing himself into Emma’s arms. He hugs Snow and David next, and clings to Emma’s arm while he asks Hook if he’s okay, too. Within seconds, Granny is calling for hot chocolate and tea and soup, and Jefferson is asking what happened, and Regina is demanding to know what happened, and Emma spends the next ten minutes answering questions and reassuring Granny, Ruby, and Belle in turns that yes, she’s perfectly fine.
It’s something of a surprise to find that they’re just as concerned about her as they are about Snow and David.
It’s also overwhelming, especially since she’s still shaky from her magical efforts earlier. Exhaustion seeps into her along with the warmth, as if the cold and the shivering has been keeping her upright. Her eyelids feel very heavy.
“Hey.” Snow is standing in front of her, holding out a steaming mug. There’s cinnamon sprinkled over the swirl of cream on top. “Come on, let’s sit down.”

Chapter 24
Killian’s missing.
He’s been missing for 12 hours, and all the king’s horses and all the king’s men, who have been searching since dawn, can’t find him.
Neither Snow nor David try to reassure Emma that everything’s fine, or even attempt to offer an explanation other than the obvious one: Neal did something.
Nobody says it, but everyone’s thinking it, and the only thing stopping Emma from killing Neal is the fact that she doesn’t actually know where he is—that, and a little bit because it would probably be emotionally scarring for Henry if his mom murdered his dad.
They’ve all been wide awake since midnight, when Ian finally calmed down and stopped yelling, “The shadow ate my dad!”, Henry came home without Killian and without having seen Killian, and Emma realized, with a cold, sinking feeling in her gut, that something was very, very wrong.
Emma, David, and Henry went out immediately to scour the town. An hour’s search yielded absolutely nothing, and that was when Snow called and told Emma she needed to get back to the loft immediately.
Emma returned to find Ian barricaded inside a fort made out of sofa cushions and Snow’s quilts. He wouldn’t come out, no matter how Emma coaxed, so Snow made coffee, and Emma sat in the armchair beside Ian’s fort all night with a succession of coffee mugs in one hand and her cell phone clutched tight in the other.
