Do you think Peter Pevensie ever struggled with his epithet being “The Magnificent”? Because well Just, Valiant, Gentle aren’t values that are necessarily easy to live up to but at least they’re specific! How on earth can you live up to being known as Magnificent?

I know it’s fully delusional but I truly believe MCU Thunderbolts will be a good movie.

The fact that Feige got the main creatives of Beef for this movie makes me so interested. I know people will say creative teams don’t mean much in the MCU and I don’t truly disagree, but I do believe that the fact that they were chosen means Feige is interested in this movie exploring similar themes. Now Beef was a wonderfully weird show that focused on exploring the interiority of its two main characters who have have a very similar rage despite seeming very different on the outside. It’s about two people getting to know each other deeply through following their worst impulses and bringing the worst in each other. It’s darkly funny, shocking and bit depressing.

Now doesn’t that seem like a good creative team to have on a film about antiheroes whose main characters are deeply traumatized and are probably struggling through some anger issues?

Of course I’m aware this is still the MCU so world building and “end of the world” shenanigans are bound to be clumsily included, but I do have hope that there will be a character driven film in there somewhere.

Is it just me or are different skills needed to be a romance / romcom actor? Like being just a good actor just won’t cut it, there needs to be something more.

Cause like… I think Sidney is a better dramatic actor than Maude, but Maude gave more romcom in 10 seconds of that couch conversation than Sidney gave in that new trailer….

stark positivity week - day two - jon snow

Jon was not afraid of death, but he did not want to die like that, trussed and bound and beheaded like a common brigand. If he must perish, let it be with a sword in his hand, fighting his father’s killers. He was no true Stark, had never been one… but he could die like one. Let them say that Eddard Stark had fathered four sons, not three.
