Quick question to the Mark Twain fandom (and fellow animation lovers)- why aren’t we talking about Cyber Group Studios’ “Tom Sawyer” 2020 series???
It just came out this year and it one of the best (and most visually stunning) adaptations of these characters I’ve ever seen, but it seems like the entire fandom is sleeping on it.
If you’re even a fan of just good animation,
PLEASE, PLEASE SUPPORT THIS SHOW
. There’s so much care and passion that went into its production, and it deserves the attention! The scenery, character writing, the art style- it’s all fantastic! It’s a Canadian production and has aired in parts of Europe, but there’s been no official release in the US or other areas, from my research. You guys can check out the ENTIRE first season here, if you’re interested (heads up, it’s in French!):

My biggest problem rn is figuring out how to make it look cleaner. I need to keep it a little loose around the knees so I can bend them, but the fabric wrinkles and ruins the effect if I do.
Maybe if I add some extra side fins it will distract from it a bit ?

While this blog hasn’t been affected by the Staff’s recent actions, many of my friends have been, and it breaks my heart to see so many I care about suffer from a lack of care and competence and general attitude of indifference. Tumblr Staff, I believed you could do better than this.

So my cat is currently eyeing the latex molds that are drying for Trahearne’s facial leaves and I think I’ve discovered a new level of anxiety.
Sorry this blog has been so dead, grad school has been keeping me super busy. The good news though is that Holiday Matsuri is around the corner, so I’ve started to work on my newest cosplay, everyone’s favorite salad nerd, Trahearne. The wig is almost finished, at last!
