Hello! So, I had the thought of doing commissions for writing! Because I need a source of income, you know? So, here are the rules!

  • I can do fanfics or stuff with original characters.
  • I can do NSFW, but I will NOT do: Pedophilia, incest, abuse, rape, or crush fetish that involves live creatures. Crush fetish involving inanimate objects is okay. ANYTHING NSFW involving minors is off-limits.
  • My prices are dependent on word count, page count, and hours spent. The base rate is $1 per page, $1 per hour, + 50 cents for every 100 words. So, for example, if your request is one page and takes one hour to write and is 200 words, that would come out to be $3.
  • I only count hours I spend writing, so hours I spend doing things away from my devices, such as eating, sleeping, or chores, will not be included in the price.
  • It may take me a few days to get your commission done, but I will prioritize them over my own projects. Please know that I am working on them, and please be patient with me.
  • I’m not writing entire novels, just short stories, so I won’t do anything past 5,000 words.
  • You do not have the right to post what I write anywhere. What I write under commission is for your eyes only. Redistribution of my writing is not okay. Anything based off of what I write under commission can also not be distributed anywhere, because I know someone will try to use that as a loophole.
  • Please send in commission stuff through messages, not asks!

Commission for @summermonths

I had a really fun time drawing their character! It's been too long since I've drawn a Vulpix.

Commissions are still open! If anyone else would like to commission me, feel free to check out my pinned post.

Honestly, autism acceptance is about not having to fearmonger about autism and accepting and acknowledging all types of autism. It includes bringing awareness to lesser known types of autism, but bringing attention to it, is not the only thing we need.

We need accomodations, societal acceptance, kindness, respect, advocating for ableist laws against autistic people to be removed, to shut down negative beliefs about autism, correct education about autism, stop treating autistic people as inferior or broken.

  • Accepting that some autistic people will never be able to speak, learn properly, be independent, etc.
  • Acknowledging comorbid disorders of autism.
  • Being aware of what masking looks like and how it affects the masker.
  • Being aware that some people are just unable to mask, and it's not their obligation to make you feel comfortable.
  • Not treating autism like a disease that needs to be eradicated, and instead a disability that needs to be accommodated for.

No autistic person deserves to die simply because they're autistic. So let's start accepting the existence of all autistic people. Yes, especially the ones that make you feel uncomfortable to be around.

We all must address ableism, whether it's internalized or not, whether it's lateral aggression or just ableism in general.

Autistic people are individual. Some are going to struggle more than others, but all are worthy of acknowledgement, respect, acceptance and accomodations.

That's what it should be about. Not for neurotypicals to mainly be aware, but for be allies to our cause, and for society to stop ostracizing us.

You won't reach a point where you don't need references anymore 😭

Even artists who freedraw regularly still do studies, refer to their past work, keep character sheets at hand, etc

Please don't impose that expectation on yourself just because of a live demo, tiktok, or timelapses especially

oh my goodness, one of dian fossey’s first close up observations with gorillas happened when she was trying to climb a tree to see them better, but so badly that by the time she’d gotten up the entire group had come out of hiding to look at her: “Nearly all members of the group had totally exposed themselves, forgetting about hiding coyly behind foliage screens because it was obvious to them that the observer had been distracted by tree-climbing problems, an activity they could understand.”

hello, fellow apes

The lead up to that sentence is gold:

[Image transcript: porch. The group had been day-nesting and sunbathing when I contacted them, but upon my approach they nervously retreated to obscure themselves behind thick foliage. Frustrated but determined to see them better, I decided to climb a tree, not one of my better talents. The tree was particularly slithery and, try as I might, no amount of puffing, pulling, gripping, or clawing succeeded in getting me more than a few feet aboveground. Disgustedly, I was about to give up when Sanwekwe came to my aid by giving one mighty boost to my protruding rump; tears were running from his eyes as he was convulsed in silent laughter. I felt as inept as a baby taking its first step. Finally able to grab on to a conveniently placed branch, I hauled myself up into a respectful semislouch position in the tree about twenty feet from the ground. By this time I naturally assumed that the combined noises of panting, cursing, and branch-breaking made during the initial climbing attempts must have frightened the group on to the next mountain. I was amazed to look around and find that the entire group had returned and were sitting like front row spectators at a sideshow. All that was needed to make the image complete were a few gorilla-sized bags of popcorn and some cotton candy! This was the first live audience I had ever had in my life and certainly the least expected.]

imagine some freakish not-a-human alien THING has shown up out of nowhere and is trying to get into your office building to study you. but it has no idea how to get past a revolving door. it tries for three hours. by the time it finally understands the concept of a revolving door and squeeze into the building everyone in the office is crowded into the lobby to watch and call helpful suggestions. it’s conclusively determined that the alien is definitely not a threat, except maybe to itself.
