Wow uhm, I have no idea?? I’ve never had a successful non-roleplay blog, so I really wouldn’t know, but my advice would be to never give up? It’s the same as for roleplay blogs - you have to establish who you are as a mun/blogger and be patient, the followers will come on their own.

I’m a huge nerd about Gen01 and wanted to give the Pokemon RP fandom a try. I chose Articuno because she’s my fav birb from the legendary trio :)

I haven’t seen any headcanons for Articuno around, she’s basically a blank canvas. And the only ideas for headcanons I seem to get are the ones I end up implementing. I’d say 90% of the shit I think of actually ends up as a headcanon, those 10% are the gibberish things I think of at the asscrack of dawn. Nothing useful.

(The wording of this question is fucking me up. That sounds so wrong urghh).Anyway! Articuno is a very fickle muse. I struggle with my portrayal of her because of her moodswings and the many layers of masks she created to shield herself, which even make it hard for me, the writer, to see through her. Just because I’m the writer, doesn’t mean that she’s any more open with me than with the muses she interacts with.

Oh no, don’t get me on this feels-train.I used to be in a roleplay group here on tumblr that told the unique story of God vanishing and the Angels taking the reigns in heaven, most of them planning to purge the earth of mankind, bla bla etc. I used to play the Archangel Michael there and looking back, it was the best time I’ve had in a roleplay group on tumblr.Unfortunately, the group died, but the memories are still with me and I look back on them fondly.

Oh sheesh, this is a hard one. My inspiration is all over the place, man, I get my ideas from everything. I think in very abstract ways, cut corners, make jumps, etc. so it’s hard to backtrack where everything comes from, but a big factor is greek mythology.I know, sounds weird, but hear me out: The greek gods are all wildly different, with varying powers (and degrees of such), meanings and position, much like the Legendaries in Pokemon.I don’t have set matches for Pokemons-Greek deities, but the greek mythology in general inspires me a lot. No set examples, sorry.

Ugh, I hate having to pick just one person - so I wont! A lot of people in this community have influenced me and my writing style in a very short amount of time, among them are @worldpangs (their style of writing is to die for and inspires me to get more creative with my style), @gracihera (their portrayal is a++ and encourages me to develop Articuno further, more headcanons etc.), @welcometosiilenthill (sweetest mun on the planet tbh, make me want to be a better mun and person) & you, sweet llama (your writing is so fab, I really admire your style).

With Articuno, it’s heartfelt/romantic plots. I just can’t picture her feeling anything deep aside from platonic love (& hate/anger obviously, but I’m talking about positive feelings here) for her siblings and maybe her master, Lugia.In general, I don’t really feel like I struggle with one character/plot/scene more than with another. Realistic portrayal is always hard (at least for me), but if I would have to pick a portrayal that I find a little bit more tricky than others, it would be with shy characters. Probably because I’m not shy at all and can’t feel the character as much.

Ahh, that really varies! It doesn’t even have anything to do with length - it mostly depends on how much I’m feeling my muse the moment I’m working on the reply.For longer threads, I’d say about an hour or two on good days? I’m a rather fast writer, but getting the words just right takes me the longest.

[ooc] So I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion in general, but it is in my group of friends who like Silent Hill?? I guess that counts either way. Whatever.

I really liked the movies. I’m invested in the story of Silent Hill in general, but not enough to tell if there are details off between game-canon and the movies? So I can’t really find anything to “dislike” and the movies are well made, with strong female protagonists, interesting stories and a lot of implied past trauma and possible theories throughout the movies, without giving way to plot holes.I’m very much looking forward to Silent Hill: Genesis in 2017!
