girls!!! we gotta fail more often!!! we’re so scared of failure and disappointing people and looking stupid that we don’t even TRY things! men?? men brush off failure like it’s nothing! if a man doesn’t get a job he wanted, it’s because they didn’t review his application fairly! it’s because the competition was tough this year! it’s because he just needs to try harder next time! men just DO things!!! and you know what DOING things builds?? confidence!!! even if you fail!! the more you fail, the more confident you are that you can fail and survive! women don’t even wanna try unless they are 100% certain that they’re qualified and competent and won’t disappoint anybody! but that is NONSENSE. men are out there getting positions they’re not even qualified for, while over-qualified but less-confident women are staying where it’s safe bc they’re afraid to rock the boat!!! DO. IT. apply for the thing! ask for the raise! enter the competition! get used to failing ALL the time! fail quickly and move on!!! if a cocky but mediocre man would do it, then for the love of god, GO DO THE DAMN THING. you are SO much more qualified than you think you are.

I LOVE YOU

Alright, so for any of you who have played Exalted before, this is going to seem very familiar to you as this was all ripped and converted pretty much straight from that system. As I get a chance to play around with it a bit, this will probably change and morph to fill out mechanical oversights and better for 5th edition, but for the time being I think it’s in a state where it can be playtested so I’m posting it.

As I plan on running a very socially and politically charged campaign in the near future, I wanted to lay out some real crunchy rules to make important social interactions more interesting and dramatic. I generally dislike how ambiguous the rules and consequences of contentious social interaction are in 5e, so this is my attempt to expand it into something exciting that people want to participate in. I also really wanted to expand what can be done with personality traits, ideals, bonds, and flaws, so I tried to work them into the rules as much as possible since, at least at my table, they far too often get ignored.

This is the very first draft of this content and I’d love feedback on what does and doesn’t work, so please feel free to leave questions and comments whether scathing or praising. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I hate War of the Spark. Wolves, planeswalker fights, Liliana taking responsibility for her action, every thing should be coming up Garruk and I really just miss him

Rex: What attracts you to Anakin again?
Padme: *dresmy sigh* When I look into his eyes, I see absolutely nothing. Pure dumbass. Elevator music. Also he likes getting pegged and that’s a must.
Rex: Oh my god.
