This AU is setted in 2005, one year after the events of RE4. For Heather/Cheryl i used the Shattered memories timeline (since it's the only one that uses specific dates for the events instead of an estimation) but completely ignoring SH:SM events because I haven't played it yet

Aang drags azula toward the sound of the fanfare. Her heart flutters in her breast, unwarranted, in her opinion, at the shape of his fingers twined around her own, and the way that he laughs giddily as they run.

She fights to regain her composure as Aang pulls her along; a tugboat navigating crowded waters.

They reach the parade's edge, and Azula stumbles briefly before righting herself. She looks up into Aang's face, watching as he lights up with a grin, glowing in the lantern light from the parade while he watches it pass them by.

Azula looks too, watching, listening. He doesn't let go fo her hand, and she can't bring herself to let go either.
