Nope. A bot's height and looks are up to the coders preference. Some companies will use the same average design for all their bots to save time (and make money)
Some bots' design and characteristics were given special care and attention, thus the differences between them.

Well, all bots can float and glide around the screen if they want to. However, not all users are comfortable with that feature. That’s where ‘solid ground’ comes in. It’s like an imaginary floor on any screen where the bots will stand still instead of floating around aimlessly. They can still float, but will eventually return back down. Thomas has this feature turned on because the motion made him dizzy at a certain point. (ask Patton, he can confirm)
Also, sure Virgil and Logan technically don’t have any feet. But it’s still there, you just can’t see or feel it. Plus, their height has been permanently set in their codes. So yeah.

Thomas is not all that alone. His aunt lives a few houses away, so whenever he needed that adult support, he’ll just go there.
Most of his friends from school study in different colleges. Joan visits once or twice every month. If his other friends aren't too busy, they would have a sleepover at Thomas's house. This is one of those time he tries not to stick to his gadgets all the time.
For Emile, he'll probably be Thomas's lecturer. I don't know about Remy. Like, I'd like to put him as a bot but I don't know when and how to even put him in
