So we put on a mask. It's not hard to understand why. What's hard is knowing that sometimes, the mask is who we really are.

how do you think it would’ve played out if klaroline was endgame and they didn’t kill cami off?
Well to be clear, we never needed cami to die for our ships purpose. It was evident in the way that there was a line as to how far they’d ever let CK develop to before it got cut off at the knees. And it was clear since like day one that a kiss was that line. Not only did it take three seasons to get there LMFSKSK but then they kept railroading them if they moved forward a MILLIMETER, it was honestly so funny looking back now.
So Camille dying was irrelevant to us because those two had their narrative—or lack thereof, I should say—set in stone, imo. THAT BEING SAID, how would they have played out on TO? It’s tricky because I fully operated under the impression that they were NEVER going to bring Caroline in until the verrrrryyyyy end, we all knew it. And make no mistake, Caroline in S5 of TO was solely because it was a planned and announced ahead of time final season. So I never expected much of a whole arc. They were written to very clearly be set-up as a somewhere later in life type of an endgame and that’s 100% how they would’ve put them together in my opinion
So, apparently they’re going to make a Vampire Diaries movie? What would they even going to make it about? They killed off half the characters
DEAR GOD PLS NO

The Vampire Diaries (2009 - 2017) Season 4, Episode 23 — Graduation
the fact that Klaus was in his primary villain era but was so obsessed with Caroline while she was telling him that he was a massive loser and a psychopathic megalomaniac (but who could be saved if he changed) is why the ship is unmatched to me. imagine if she had given him more than a crumb of attention. we never saw him try to woo anyone like that again. he backed off so she could go and live her life how she told him she wanted while he still intended to be her last love. truly unhinged behaviour.
