Started the year redrawing something from nearly 10 years ago! One of my first digital drawings actually! How time flies... I used to love this one artist on Youtube and was inspired to try some of their grungy paint tool sai lines (needless to say I failed, it has a similar vibe but it is NOT well referenced at all). The 2018 version was me thinking I was suddenly hot shit and new how to use photoshop (I did know how to use photoshop, but I realise it wasnt exactly meant for the type of lineart I wanted to try). But I stripped the pose and personality off of him and turned him into a very clean straight boy and looking back, I really dislike it. The newest version Im in love with. I used clip studio paint and the process was so enjoyable and fast, I cant wait to get more used to it. Lets see how long that feeling stays XDĀ

Genshin art alert! Im thinking. Hard.... about coming back on this website. I have so many great memories of my time here. It has not been the same on here since the purge. I stayed for a while until life got too overwhelming. In the past year though I can say my solace would be playing this game. Itās peaceful, beautiful, inspiring. Out of the few pieces of art I made this year, the majority of them has been Genshin impact themed, I think it reflects just how this game influenced me and my art.
