Okay, just to be clear here, our options are: die here, die in the tunnels, or die in the streets. That pretty much it? Yeah... that's pretty much it. CLOVERFIELD dir. Matt Reeves

Here is a Christmas gift I made for my aunt. She wanted baby blue from jurassic world but since I couldn't afford to buy one I made her one instead. It's even life size for a young baby.

A cool custom Ceasar Pop! in his warpaint from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes by Cool Guy Custom (5rhodds on ebay—couldn’t find a website or instagram). Wooden spear in hand. Funko never did Rise or Dawn Pops, so I’m glad I found this!
The gates are finally done! For texturing, I used a technique I saw on youtube. Spraying water and then using a heat gun over the foam makes a cool crackling effect. They were then coated with a waterproofing paint and then a small can of grey house paint. I sponged on some acrylics in different greys and then gave it a wash of black to give it a weathered look. Finally, I used the foam scraps to make side panels and covered them in faux plants.
I wanted to make the door up as the visitor complex, but I ran out of time. However, I'm really happy with how they came out and the trick or treaters seem to be enjoying them.
Happy Halloween!
My partner got me the Best Droid Boy for Christmas. Perfection itself!

I decided that, since I already have a little PoTA Themed plush collection here, I figured I should share all of them.
From right to left: 1) ‘Puppet Ape’. I got this one as a belated birthday/Christmas(?) gift. My orginal thought was to make him into Caesar or some other PoTA character but then I realized his fur was too dark to be Caesar and too brown to be a bonobo. Plus (I don’t know if you can tell by the photo but) he appears to have more of a beak than a muzzle-so he apparently is half duck. He is currently sitting on my desk in my room as I don’t know what to do with him as of right now. Maybe I’ll make him into an OC, but who knows. 2) Maurice. Ok, I remeber distinctively getting him for my birthday! I got him as is (I may fix up his face as he looks depressed) and just call him Maurice because he looks so much like him. 3) Koba. This is actually my first PoTA plush. I custimized him from an old chimpanzee plush I bought on Ebay. I’m not entirely sure, but I may fix his eyebrows and give him a nose (as I seem to have forgotten that detail) but even if I don’t, I still love him very much. 4 and 5) Little Koba and Little Dolly (my OC as a child). I got these two when my aunt took me to the Sand Diego Zoo. When I saw they had bonobo plushies (and yes they have actual bonobos there too!) I knew I had to have two. I had Firestorm in mind when I got them so I purposly left Koba without any scars (it’s probably impossible to tell, but Little Koba has a more angerier expresson than Little Dolly) and gave Dolly a blue bow. I should really give these two more attention since their relationship as twins is seen in my Before The Storm story. 6) And finally, Red. While I bought and/or customized the other apes, Red is currently the first and only plushie that I actaully made-he’s totally my baby! I used an old Build a Bear plush as a model and just made his body around it (so the other plush was wearing his body as a costume for a while) and he’s made out of Faux Fur and blanket fabric. I love this plushie and I’m very happy with how he’s come out, but he’s not completely finished: His nose is a bit too big and he doesn’t have a mouth yet and I need to make some minor adjustments to his face before I can call him 100% done-I’ve also made lots of mistakes when making him, causing him to have a lot of flaws (example: one arm is thicker and looser than the other and the stitches are tighter and harder in some places). Despite this, both my mom and grandma LOVE him. Still, I’ll be sure to give Red a nice, loving home here! (can you tell Koba and Red are two of my favorite PoTA characters and that I love them? ) I’m currently not going to make anymore plushies (since college has started) but other apes that I got my eye on are: Caesar (what’s Planet of The Apes without the king?) Blue Eyes (need the prince too!) Winter (obviously) and Pope (hell yeah!) Red, Koba and Maurice are © Planet of The Apes Dolly and all stuffed animals seen in this pic are mine! :D ^^
