Wow. I'm just now seeing this as I was away from tumblr and didn't see that I was tagged but. Honestly I'm really disgusted. Out of spite I want to start a campaign that explicitly focuses on trying to raise an approximate amount of money close to 200 000 USD (it's CAD but hey) to save the lives of 42 members of a big family in Ghazzah, and to match the AO3 campaign's overzealousness. I personally spoke to Mahmoud Qassas and I vetted it. Donate to them!!! We can do this.

The TEO Connector

For those who tuned in to the charity stream of @wayneradiotv on Sunday, you may have gotten to see this in use!

Its a device I built using an arduino that allows for the fin fin Smart Sensor to be connected to Fin Fin on QEMU.

I don't know how many people there are out there that actually have a Smart Sensor, but if you are one of the lucky few that do and would like one of these I will be making a small batch of them, as well as sharing all the code / files online.

Given their closeness to the subject, this has resulted in unconventional, very human impressions of the landscape and the architecture, the cuisine, the music and the poetry of thought and expression. The drawings, photographs, maps and narratives made for this atlas reveal individual life experiences, from preparing chickpeas to a manual on water pipe smoking, from historic dress to modern music. Pages containing humorous and caustic newspaper cartoons and invented Palestinian currency followed by colourful cultural diaries and moving letters from prisoners. All in all, the contributions give an entirely different angle on a nation in occupied territory. In this subjective atlas it is the Palestinians themselves who show the disarming reverse side of the black-and-white image generally resorted to by the media.

i thought my laptop was on its last leg because it was running at six billion degrees and using 100% disk space at all times and then i turned off shadows and some other windows effects and it was immediately cured. i just did the same to my roommate's computer and its performance issues were also immediately cured. okay. i guess.

so i guess if you have creaky freezy windows 10/11 try searching "advanced system settings", go to performance settings, and uncheck "show shadows under windows" and anything else you don't want. hope that helps someone else.
