My sister wrote a TAG fic! Her first ever, featuring John. Please give it a read and let her know what you think. It's so cool that she's got into writing and hopefully we'll see a lot more of her work. She decided to give writing a go after reading my fics and blethering with me about TAG in general. I regret nothing. Mwahaha!

Update for Thunderfam

Hi guys. Long time no speak. I know I’ve been uploading a few odd bits and pieces on here lately but I said I’d give an update as to why I’ve been MIA for so long.

So here goes…

Some of you may remember from an SOS I sent out a good while back that I care for my dad who is terminally ill with motor neurone disease. Well his condition had deteriorated a lot and that’s part of the reason why I disappeared and stopped writing altogether.

Sadly, on March 2nd this year he lost his fight with that dreadful disease and passed away. My dad was my best friend, protector and partner in crime. So much of my identity came from him because we were so alike. Words can’t describe my heartbreak at his loss. There’s a hole in my chest and my life that I know will never be filled again.

I’m taking things day by day and I’m slowly getting back on my feet. I’ve been doing a lot of content creation (pictures, videos, writing) and that has helped me process my grief. I won’t make any promises about fully returning to the thunderfam community but I hope to in the near future.

Anyway, that’s the story. I hope all of you are keeping well.

So I finally finished my picture last night, which is based on a fanfic I’m writing with a friend. It’s a Yugioh and My Hero Academia crossover based in Yugioh verse Ancient Egypt. Characters are Hawks, Dabi and Pharaoh Atemu.

I don’t own any of the characters and I’ll admit right now I found the background image on Google, so I don’t own that either. This was just made for fun. I need to learn how to draw backgrounds myself 😅

Used LOTS of references for the characters but the actual line art is all done free hand - no tracing involved.

Drawing is a great stress reliever 😎 Wanted to share on here since my creative streak seems to have returned at long last. Please be nice - I’ve still got a lot to learn and improve upon.

My third beyblade AMV. This time from G Rev, using the awesome song that is 'My Demons' by Starset. This all happened because of part 2:57, when I was playing around with my editing and that bit happened on the timeline. Then I had to make the rest of the video. Didn't use any fancy transitions this time, as I didn't feel this particular video needed them. It was a lot of fun and I hope folk enjoy. Still got a lot to learn.

As with all my videos, this will only be available on Tumblr. I don't upload on YouTube because I want to avoid any copyright strikes.

Decided to get back into drawing again and convince myself I can still do it if I put my mind to it.

Character is Pharaoh Atemu from Yugioh.

Pencil version took about 6 hours, and then I put it into my art app and started colouring. The plan is for this to be part of a bigger picture eventually, hence why there is currently no background 😄

Long time no see, Tumblr. Life has been awful, but I'm back and wanted to upload this video which I finished a few months ago. Quality is best I can get and I've still got a lot to learn, but I found this fun to make and so wanted to share it. I have another finished AMV from G Rev which I plan to upload within the next couple of weeks, all being well.

Hi TAG fam. Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since I last updated this (or wrote anything for that matter). I feel kinda guilty. Long story short version things have been tough IRL since you heard from me last, and my muse has pretty much been stuck on life support the whole time.

I'm now in the process of trying to kick start it again, so apologies that this chapter is SO LATE and isn't the most exciting. I'm very out of practice, and while I'm still not in a great place mentally, I am improving.

Hopefully this is me saying "Chiddi's back". We'll see if my muse recovers enough to support that. I've missed the Thunder fam so much.

Beyblade AMV - For the Glory.

My first Beyblade AMV. I was finally able to source the episodes in decent quality to make this, and decided to share it after chatting with @ressyfaerie (big thanks for encouraging me). I've fallen deep into Beyblade hell these past few months so this is me taking a shy step into the fandom.

Beyblade means a lot to me. It was the first anime I watched as a kid and I still adore the characters and story even now. Kai is my favourite character.

Update - why I’ve been MIA

Been a long time since I’ve been on tumblr properly, so I figured I’d drop this here and those who might be wondering where I’ve disappeared to can get a little insight.

First of all, to the Thunderfam.  I miss you guys SO MUCH!  Sadly my muse has moved on to pastures old and I’m currently stuck deep in another fandom - the first anime series I ever got into actually - which is the original Beyblade series.

I miss writing and interacting with you guys about all things TAG related, and I’m sure I’ll be back at some point, but for now I’m preoccupied with Beyblade.  Venturing into a fandom is daunting and I miss the safety that I know is there with the TAG community.

It really bothers me that I’ve not finished Find Me yet.  I hate leaving a story hanging but I’m worried I’ll ruin it if I try to force the muse before it’s ready.

As for IRL, as some of you probably remember from a previous post, I am my dad’s carer.  He has Motor Neurone Disease, which is a terminal condition.  Unfortunately his health has deteriorated quite significantly over the past couple of months, which means my caring responsibilities have increased along with my stress levels.

I also just started a new job in February with the National Health Service and it’s quite hard.  I’m struggling to find the balance between my work and my caring responsibility, and then I’m too tired at the end of the day to do much writing.  I do a little RP work and I’ve dabbled in some digital art again, but that’s about it.

So yeah, that’s where I’m at.

TL;DR - I’M STILL HERE AND I MISS YOU ALL!  HOPE YOU’RE KEEPING SAFE AND HEALTHY!

Hi guys. Finally got around to posting this on ao3.  I’ve been MIA lately because an old fandom stole me away and captured my heart all over again, but I still love TAG and hope to be back soon with more of my WIPs.

In the meantime here’s my TAG Secret Santa 2020 piece, which was fun to write, shared here so it doesn’t get completely lost in the bottomless pit that is Tumblr lol.
