I feel like (while maybe not a common fic premise) I’ve seen a few different versions of Danny&Damian twins AU where they run into each other at a gala (very fun and confusing fics 10/10 some of my favs) dragged along by like Vlad or Sam and her family.

I just re-read agit and with the ending that did give me an idea of that same kind of premise, oh no Danny’s been dragged along to a fancy Wayne gala with Vlad and runs into his long lost twin, but instead it’s Dan, 20(?) years older and running into Damian in his younger clone body.

It does bring up the question of what happened in Dan’s timeline with the Justice League and etc (I’ve seen a few where the authors say he’s able to take them down which, OOF) idk, it’s something that could have a really different view I was mulling over maybe I’ll get into it a bit more in the morning

This tag isn't from this post, but it's in my screenshots from forever ago, and I couldn't resist adding it.

What I like about this is that dissection isn't part of the original Danny Phantom, but it is part of fandom's Danny Phantom. Someone who writes a fanfic with him being dissected is making a fanfic of the fandom's Phantom. This means that there is a second version, a version that is made up of the fanfics and is constantly evolving as new fan-content is created.

I find this fascinating/wonderful/beautiful.

He just freezes. Can batman do that? Is he legally allowed to do that? Wait what does Batman mean by grounded?!!? Whats his move here.

So they r having the ride home and everyone is sulking and Danny is just there confused but doesn’t say anything because hes probably tired and it’s batman wtf you gonna do.

So they are at the cave and Danny finally just “so can I call my family to tell them I wont be home tonight?”

You everyone just stops. And slowly turns to face him. “Ah yea dumb question. I guess uhhh no phones huh?” No one moves. Everyone is pretty shocked. Cause one bruce kidnapped some kid. Two theres a civi in the batcave. Three bruce kidnapped some fucking kid. Four some random kid just got in the car with them. Five holy fuck bruce kidnapped some kid.
