you just gotta figure out how to do the mitten thing! (everybody does it differently, so whatever works for you)
make a little mitten shape, a bump for the big thumb muscle, a line for where you want to knuckles to be (and where the fingers end), and you can work out how the hand does hand things~
you can make them more simple or more real, however you want! hands are weird, so don’t worry if they keep looking wrong for a while, once you figure out what works for you, it’ll click. If you practice like 10 or-so basic hand shapes, you can make slight variations on all those, and 10 turns into 20 different hand poses~
Good luck, you can do it, practice until you find your groove, hands are stupid, don’t worry if they don’t look right!

Rick spent the next several minutes staring at his phone in his room. Should he call? Text? Email? He had just gotten used to social media. Did Demon have a Facebook page? Could he send him a message there? Or would that be weird.
He settled for a text, a small one that was very simple and to the point.

Demon felt his phone go off and pulled it out of his pocket. A simple Hey? Now this wouldn't do.

Rick sat in his study, thinking over the letter he’d sent to his husband a few days back. He used a terra bird, but they weren’t the best when it came to delivering messages. Not yet, at least. He was working on that.
“Maybe I should visit…” he thought aloud, quickly shaking the thought away. “No, he wouldn’t be too happy about me showing up after disappearing for so long.” But the more he thought about it, the more he figured he should do something as an apology. So he got up from his desk and went to his wine cellar, finding a nice vintage from Italy to send over to the dark dimension. The Count chuckled and summoned a portal to Demon’s dining room table, dropped the bottle of wine through the portal, and prayed that it didn’t miss and shatter.
Demon was walking by the dinning room when he spotted the bottle of wine now on it. Thankfully the other didn’t miss and it landed in a nice spot. He walked over and picked it up. He could smell his husband all over it. “Mmm, nice year” He said as he used a claw to pop open the bottle. “Wish he’d stop avoiding me and visit already” He said as he took a sip from the bottle.

“You know what my Queen. Lets take a vacation. Just you me and the girls. If you don’t mind us bringing Lilith with us. I’m sure she and her little sister would enjoy spending time together” He smiled at his wife. “We can go anywhere you want to go”
“Oh darling, a vacation would be perfect. Bringing Lilith would be very nice - of course I don’t mind.” She smiles back at him, taking his hand and giving it a soft squeeze. “Let’s go somewhere tropical. I’m sure the girls would have a great time playing in the ocean.”
“You know I was thinking the same thing!” He held her hands. “I haven’t been to the beach in forever. I can have my human legs for once, instead of the goat ones” He kissed her forehead. “Bahamas?”
